WK 13 Massillon (12-0) vs Lake (9-3)

I honestly don’t know. But then again I guess I have to figure out why it’s a big deal in the first place.
It’s the same reasoning adults in Perry dont like Massillon, along with the fans of the other teams in that league except for Lake and Glenoak.

Again you obviously don't know who I am but I have mentioned on Facebook and on a podcast that I do with some friends that I thank North Canton Hoover for hosting the game all I ask is just to make sure we have the right locker room that's it. But again you did not answer why they did it in the first place you completely did not answer the question that I asked you so therefore this conversation is done if you can't answer that then so be it you have a good day and good luck to your Panthers next year
You’re right I don’t know who you are.

and as far as Perry goes, as my kids get older and they end up in Summit county high schools, my affinity for Perry has waned… particularly in the last few years as even most of my extended family has graduated. One kid in the generation within the football program is left and he’ll be a great athlete for Perry in the next couple years.

my nostalgia for Perry was late 90’s early 2000’s. A much more respectable program then.

Hoover's visitor locker room is pretty small. Every team complains about it. Maybe the brand new soccer locker room was actually bigger and nicer. Massillon fans being Massillon fans. By the way, has the game been sold out?

The issue is that it wasn't near big enough to accommodate the entire team. You've got 80+ players, coaches, and gear (unsuccessfully) trying to get ready in a space designed for a fraction of that number of people who are bringing nothing more than shoes, shorts, and shirts.

See the endless cycle?

classess Hoover - recruity Massillon

don’t hear the other side out, just believe the narrative
Again, I have never seen a reason given by Hoover. Have you? If there was a legit reason, painting it, renovating it, new flooring, whatever, I am sure it would have been put out there. Instead, all we see from Hoover posters is "It was a brand new lockerroom". Not a reason, would you agree?

With the exception of Benson and maybe Jackson and GlenOak, that’s a challenge at every FL stadium

When a team plays at Hoover, Perry, or Lake, is it common to have players standing outside the locker room because they can't fit inside?

I don't recall hearing anything like that when Massillon played at Perry or Lake (although I don't remember who the home team was at Lake).

I mean I get why this would be frustrating… but we are talking about the physically demanding game of football, right?

who the eff cares??

Yes it was common at Hoover. And, yes, it was frustrating but the football team still played the game and didn’t give a rip.

Ok this has gone on for many pages…

Massillon I hope your desire to win the state title is half as much as your desire to have a big locker room because if that’s true there’s no stopping you this year

best of luck to lake but, uh, yeah. Good luck

Minus the Massillon-Canton series, the Tigers‘ total record with Stark County schools is 207-17. Also, those 17 losses includes 10 from Alliance. Massillon’s total record with Alliance is 63-10-2.
The Tigers have won 22 wins in a row versus Stark schools. The last Tiger loss was in 2015 against McKinley.
Very impressive.

This would’ve been a great joke 20 years ago. All the rich people ran most of the Amish out sadly.

I laughed because I immediately thought of "original gangsta" which would be hilarious from a Lake fan no? You can tell I have teenagers, lol. Maybe he was an offensive guard(?). Still hard not to associate Hartville Kitchen with Amish with Lake, but you right.

Using your logic, all football teams should stop updating, upgrading and improving their home locker rooms, correct? Guess the Chiefs, 49'ers, Bills, Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State and so on, are just making their players softer. Got it. I will email Nick Saban and Andy Reid now and let them know.

Yes, and OHSAA should revise their guidance to allow the venue to determine the home team as they see fit, regardless of seed. I mean who cares right?

Way too extreme of a response.

It’s just a simple lesson of “respond the best you can with situations you can’t control”

Some privates are gonna be upset we've been given the title of #1 recruiters.
more like D4 FB fans of teams not named Glenville. Jeeze, head over to those threads, there are people who can't stop talking about how many kids Glenville got this year.

"the locker room shouldn't matter"
It shouldn't and IMO hasn't. As we used a tent and provided our own lights at Marysville(?) - yes it was 2020 but to my point anywhere anytime mentality had been proven by the Tigers. What happened last time we played at North Canton whatever the reason was bush league - IMO. Different year, different game - Go Tigers!
