WK 13 Massillon (12-0) vs Lake (9-3)

I guess they say parking is an issue over there. Which is pretty much an issue anywhere when a stadium is going to be sold out or close enough to it.
You've never been to Jackson late in the season I see. Their parking is a mud pit.

Because they recruit a roster.

But I'm sure if Da One was back at Copley it wouldn't make a difference right?
I get being mad about transfers and all, but why talk about him here? He’s a kid. If he’s getting messed up in any way at Massillon like you think he is, imagine him coming here and reading some random guy spout off about him? Wouldn’t that mess him up even more? If you’re all about the purity of the game, don’t bring him into it.

now for the honks in this thread, have at ‘em. They’ve (I’ve, you’ve) earned it.

To be fair,

Massillon having both sides of the 50 be for season ticket holders is akin to Hoover’s terrible NOT HOME locker rooms when it comes to home field advantage. The away locker room before the renovation was The. worst.

griping about facilities kinda drags down the mystique that Massillon will play anyone, anywhere. I guess that’s not true?

gotta be pampered little babies or nah?

That didn't even make sense. 😂😂😂

Seems clear to me:

Massillon fans here seem to think that Hoover is substandard because their locker room sucks… or that the locker room they were offered in the past sucked.

is that really a reason to gripe? Are the Massillon Tigers so spoiled with their AMAZING FACILITIES that they’re unable to overcome a challenge like small locker rooms?

the answer is no, it’s just some of their stupid fans acting like little babies, complaining about anything that isn’t perfectly to their liking.

Nope or you can stop acting stupid and actually be honest with yourself. I got a question for you? If we was so spoiled why do we continue to go play at GlenOak every other year which is one of the smallest stadiums in the Federal League? If we were so spoiled why do we continue to play at Mansfield's Arlin Field? My youth team used them locker rooms a couple years ago and they're terrible but nobody complained about it. If you want to sit up here and actually be honest this the last time I'm even speaking on this cuz you're actually irrelevant to this point why if we are the home team was we given the soccer locker room? You give the away team which that year was Wadsworth the home locker room you show me any stadium where the road locker room is better than the home locker room. If you can prove that to me I will 100% agree with you. All I'm asking from a Massillon fan perspective is treat our kids like you treat everybody else if you don't like our fans that's fine every fan base has that certain group that you're not going to like and that's understandable but when it comes to our children they are treated differently than everybody else in this County and I have a problem with that. because me being the person that I am yeah I might get on this website and talk a little smack with you guys but when it comes to a child I don't care where that child is from I'm going to treat him the same as I would my own because that child deserves that I'm not going to treat a kid differently because he was from Canton or he's from Perry I would never do that but when it's done towards our kids y'all let it happen and have every excuse to why it's allowed to happen. If there was truthfully a reason to it then I will understand but there was no reason to why we should have been given a soccer locker room when a soccer team does not have the same amount of kids on their team as a football team does and the lower seed and the away team gets the home locker room that doesn't even make sense even if somebody did that to McKinley that would still be asinine. I'm out

It didn't last year when Massillon was the best team in the county. Or the year before that. Or the year before that. Or, oh well, I think you get the point. 😁

Ok you lost me.

Of course your football team would adjust to this situation. That’s what high school football is… adjusting for success. The teams still playing do that and do it well.

i don’t know why this locker room situation is this inflammatory. Seems to me the Tigers won? It builds into the mystique that even if it was intentional, that it doesn’t matter to the Massillon Tiger Football Program… they overcome the haters.

now if the team has that mentality, some of the fans certainly don’t.

by the way, if it was intentional, how petulant is the leadership in NC? Instead of complain about it, just be glad you’re not them… looks where it’s gotten them?

Ok, let me put it this way. If Massillon pulled that kind of thing on another team, let alone a county team, could you imagine the outcry on this board? How many times would posters say that was a classless move by Massillon?
Please be honest with your responses.

They do have a home locker room . The Hoover football team doesn’t dress in the soccer teams locker room.
How did it fair for your team the last time Massillon played at Perry, because your coach was a douche bag.

You're making it inflammatory. It is customary for the higher seed to be awarded the home side/lockers, that's all. And we called it out, and should have. Then all the federalies got defensive because heaven forbid they take criticism and Massillon is evil. Just like your coach robbing a home game by making us a 16th seed. That's ok, all par for the course.

Also the fans aren’t near as mad as the coaching staff and admin about it.

You’re right, people would b*tch and moan.

my guess is Massillon would’ve had some sort of reasoning behind that decision, which that would’ve satisfied the Massillon folk because they know the context of the situation… but it would’ve made the rest of stark county lose their freaking minds and it wouldn’t matter what anyone from Massillon said explaining why, the Massillon haters wouldn’t hear it. @Benchboss1 i’m sure that’s sounds like a pretty recurring theme in Massillon?

in this case the opposite is happening. Stark county is looking at Massillon fans complain about locker rooms of a stadium which they had to play a game in which they won convincingly. So maybe give the rest of us some context… why is this so insurmountable?

I sure do. Until someone can present a different reason, I will roll with that one.
Then,

Seriously what a bunch of sour grapes losers in North Canton. It explains their mediocre program’s decline over the last 15 years.

but if it was a decision they tried to make for some unforeseen reason, it sounds like you’re walking the road that everyone else in stark county walks:

Believe your gut and the narrative you prefer. Don’t listen to the other side because they’re the worst kind of people ever.

Maybe I missed it, but haven't seen a reason given.

Maxie go ahead and post the Massillon record against the rest of Stark Co. and how many we have in a row now.
Minus the Massillon-Canton series, the Tigers‘ total record with Stark County schools is 207-17. Also, those 17 losses includes 10 from Alliance. Massillon’s total record with Alliance is 63-10-2.
The Tigers have won 22 wins in a row versus Stark schools. The last Tiger loss was in 2015 against McKinley.

Makes sense to me… do you believe that Hoover intentionally moved Massillon to a different location because they don’t like them?
Yes, along with the power going out in the press box. Except it’s Massillon, so we got our generator and just like that the coaches headsets worked again.

Again you obviously don't know who I am but I have mentioned on Facebook and on a podcast that I do with some friends that I thank North Canton Hoover for hosting the game all I ask is just to make sure we have the right locker room that's it. But again you did not answer why they did it in the first place you completely did not answer the question that I asked you so therefore this conversation is done if you can't answer that then so be it you have a good day and good luck to your Panthers next year
