Glenville or Ginn Academy?

Goes back to what i said earlier. When Ursuline StV Mooney Hoban TCC win title after title with low enrollment teams as loaded or more as this Glenville team nobody bats an eye cuz they are supposed to be loaded. But a public school isn’t. They’re upsetting the apple cart. Lets see them win 4 in a row or 6 out 8 heads would explode and picket lines in front of OHSAA. Lol.
2008-10 Ursuline had a 3 peat in Division 5 with the ability to actually recruit and a future Power 5 QB. I wonder if "everybody in the state" was "laughing" at them. Oh and Aurora was the only public champ in D3-6 during this time. Even D6 had three straight private winners. Now let ppl tell it there was this same level of bitchin and moanin as there is now for Glenville but I wasnt born last night lol

I did. The old system was absolutely horrible. I’ll never forget seeing them play Liberty Benton, absolutely absurd to see that. That 2008 Liberty Benton team was the best D5 team I’ve ever seen, and they had to play a team that beat Massillon!

None of the other public schools you mentioned have a CB of ZERO. The private schools also have the highest CB numbers yet Glenville’s CB is ZERO….. how is that possible?

You may have a point there, but they don’t make the rules. In any case I would not and I doubt they would not mind bumping up a division due to CB. Till then is what it is.

I don’t even care what division Glenville is in. I just want SOMEONE from the Glenville fan base to admit what they are doing is at a minimum bending the rules. He!!, I think that’s all anyone outside of the Glenville fan base posting on this thread is looking for. There have been so many references to OSHAA.org but yet when you read the rule it further proves that there is no chance Glenville’s CB should be ZERO.

Ok. So OHSAA is turning a blind eye to Glenville HS…

Glenville had their own power 5 recruit at the same time. They however lost their D1 state title shot. And yes I'm sure people were complaining about Glenville then.

But the question is, "What is it?". Maybe all these families did move into the Glenville attendance zone and satisfactorily and honestly complete the protological forms required to beg OHSAA for eligibility.

Because if they didn't, we'd like to hear one of the Glenville defenders give us the exact bylaws and exceptions which would permit a student who does not live in in the Glenville attendance zone to play for the Tarblooders.

Yes, that's why there is a competitive balance factor now.

Why?

Lets be hypothetical here. A GHS supporter on Yappi, mind you, says there are 1 or 20 kids playing on the team that do not live in the district. What do you do with that information? Do you go to OHSAA with this new found message board evidence from someone you do not know to try to have some sort of penalty levied against GHS? I think you'll need a bit more DNA to support your case than an anonymous message board user. OR Do you just pound your chest and say I am right and everyone doubted me?

What is your end game?

I said something like this in another thread lol. For starters I dont know where a bunch of teenagers live but I wish I could find out all these kids live in gated communities and tell yappi about it just to make em even more miserable

Whether its cheating or just incompetence the 0 CB just doesn't hold water. The Glenville posters on the thread are defending the eligibility of out of district students. They are defending the eligibility of out of attendance area students. Makes me think they have actual knowledge of out of district and attendance zone players. Player eligibility could be completely proper and no one should have an issue with that. We are living in the transfer age and its not ending anytime soon.
Seems like alot of work for the super to get player eligibility especially if there are multiples. From reading the rules posted prior, the district super has to petition the executive director with extenuating circumstances for each out of attendance zone player and it states that student cannot play until approval. The 0 CB would mean Glenville has no out of zone or district players. I think most people want honesty more than anything.
You need mental help. Nobody who supports Glenville has to prove thing to YAPPI. And now you are turning this into another conspiracy theory. I have a JOB that I work 40 hours a week and HOBBIES (heard of those?) outside of high school football so I live in reality. Im going to help you cross that brdge like Gamma Gobbler tried to....

Even if I was weird enough to know where a bunch of teenagers lived and told you nothing would happend because all you would do is wax poetic about doing it the right way on Yappi, a meaningless forum. So.... Why would anybody be scared to withold that information. Especially after 10 threads of the same sh-? Think slowly. Please lmao

You cant even read dude. What does that D1 title and them having power 5 recruits have to do with Ursuline 3 peat that got them moved all the way up to....D4? Just stop lol

"Bending" is breaking. They're rules.

You're complaint isn't that they are sneaking. It's that they are violating in plain sight.

They have played some of the most high powered, moneyed programs in the state. You think none of them would have filed the complaint and won if they had evidence rules were not being followed? FIle the complaint if you have evidence.

Maybe it's the rules you object to, not the compliance?

Ursuline was in the D4 final 3 years ago so its not like they moved up 3 divisions like yall want Gelnville to... TCC just won and got knocked back yet all the tears are for Glenville. Hmmm
For decades people have complained when good teams are in their division as a result the competitive balance is calculated and applied by the OHSAA.

First of all collinwood should close and those students should go to Glenville. No nead to have Glenville and collinwood both 1/8th full. Just to keep bloated administration jobs. That would help in moving Glenville up a division. And save tax payers money , maintaining two empty schools

Ursuline had a 50 CB in 2020 and currently has a 100 CB. Hoban has a 190 CB number; if they had a zero, they would be borderline D4. Mooney has a 100 CB; if they had a zero, they would be in D7.

Glenville has at least 13 transfers that played at other high schools last year and still has a ZERO CB.

You seem legit angered by this and I have no problem? Why does this have you so bothered, be 100% honest.
People really aren't questioning player eligibility at this point. And certainly Ginn has helped a good number of kids. Perhaps even questioning the CB number is helpful to those players. If its truly 0 so be it. If its not, its probably best to ask these questions before playoffs to ensure Glenville is in the appropriate division and the kids get to keep playing. Every question is not a personal attack or attack on the program.

Exactly, don’t ban them from playoffs like 2018, just move them to d3 and get the Harbins right, before the tournament.
