Give me

Danville 47
ND 20 - get some late scores on Danville's JV's

Eastern 40
South Gallia 14 - Think I heard from somewhere Eastern is 21 points better than SG and the last game shouldnt have been close.

Miller 42
SCC 21 - The most physical team imposes their will

CV 35
Trimble 21- Tough game but Worthington Christian is a pass first team as is CV and seems like Trimble struggled with that.

We historically do, but fumbling 6 times doesn't help neither. WC was the better team that night.

I do think this game is a really winnable game for us, though.

I honestly hope Trimble wins but would be interesting to see CV win as well since they are doing something historic for their school. I was also just taking a jab at ya haha, I can see Trimble winning a low scoring affair.

If we can get the running game going and get a few turnovers, we win. If not, well, it may be a long night.

y'know...

I don't really buy the comparison of schedules thing on CV/Trimble (hmmm, I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere btw) -- like I get the idea they're trying to get across, I follow the logic, but in this situation I don't think it's easily transferrable. One example would be, would CV (for that matter Eastern) beat Wellston?😵‍💫 I'm also not sure CV has beaten anyone that Trimble wouldn't.

I think Malvern's a fine loss to take.

50-0 loss to Newcomerstown -- isn't NCT a ground-n-pound team? If so, how's that going to be any more formidable a comparison to CV beating Trimble?

Toronto -- yeah, what's understood doesn't need to be explained. 68(!)

The Miller / SCC game -- thought popped into my head. Miller hasn't played a Saturday game since '22.

Oh, brother. How can we justify Eastern and Danville being the top 2 teams in the region when they were losing to 3-6 Symmes Valley at halftime and giving up 22 to PND.

Eastern may be the  worst 11-0 team in the country. They just throw it up and pray for a miracle. Come on now, man.

Now when they talk about people saying Trimble/Danville the top 2 in the region, it's because a lot are right. I'm biased, yes, but show me what Eastern has done to be worthy of top 2 status.

I get CV will be hit by graduation (10 of 26 kids)
but you should see their schedule for next year.
Malvern, Trinity Christian/Buckeye trail, and Toronto come off. Crestline, Beallsville and Mathews come on.

GET ME A VIDEO OF THAT ASAP

I am sitting at moral dilemma with this. I ALWAYS will root for local teams to SEO no matter who it is, Eastern being in the same county as Waverly I hope for nothing but success for them. But they also could go about it a different. And as the old adage goes act like you’ve been there before for many in the Beaver community they never have. Especially on the football field considering the program is ~10 years old.

I always think to when they would come to Waverly for the annual basketball holiday classic where all 4 Pike Co schools would play and winners for a trophy. The way that majority of Eastern fans would act during that was just upsetting. Getting to see kids play against one another that probably had relation to one team or multiple. How many parents went to either of the schools play just the bloodline in the games was awesome. But to me the Eastern fans were the worst group of the bunch.

look at it this way, man...

(this isn't a 1:1 to anything else inferred/stated on here, btw)

it's not like you're a dang traitor to your people stating how you feel on it, y'know. Blind loyalty, or loyalty beyond what's palatable for you, that doesn't serve anyone well in the end.
