It will be a win if neither of our top two Qbs drop out of the program like they did last yearQB development is a bigger issue than who starts. As it has been for years.
Can someone please post the link for this survey? I will certainly back SIBN if given the chance. Have searched and can't find anything. For those of you who have not voted in the survey about SIBN , just listen to this, starting at 17:56. It's the soccer championship ;you get the idea of what they do and why they deserve support.
I feel good about that with Grbac. Didn’t show up in the W-L column but the whole offense made large strides this year and was still extremely young.QB development is a bigger issue than who starts. As it has been for years.
Not sure if this will work - you can try thisCan someone please post the link for this survey? I will certainly back SIBN if given the chance. Have searched and can't find anything.

FourThree state titles last year? Many schools would long for such a "down" sports program.
Don't you remember a couple months ago when a few disgruntled posters and outsiders who thought they knew everything about the school were "wailing" ( or gloating) about the demise of sports at Ignatius, and coupled that with the " This isn't the school I remember when I graduated in the 70s"?Who thinks all sports are down? Football seems even more glaring given the success of every other major program.
I was stunned to see this outcome. St. Xavier has won 44 swimming and diving state championships since 1970, including 23 of the last 25 years. The Bombers never lose. The Bombers will be favored in the state meet, but this meet result says the Cats have a shot at winning this season. Amazing! For those who think that all sports are down and not just football:
The top three teams seemed to swap order after every event over the course of Saturday’s Viking Invitational boys swim meet held at Cleveland State University’s Busbey Natatorium.
However, St. Ignatius was finally able to pull away at the end over University School and St. Xavier to notch a victory with 315 points. St. Xavier finished with 280.5, and University School with 276.

If coaches are the ones naming the captains, that's indicative of major problems within a program. If they're doing it in the offseason, they're doing the team an even bigger disservice. No QB competition. Franzinger named Chalhoub a captain already.
And there goes Lecharles Bentley as well I’m assuming. Adding him to the staff really improved you guys….And Will Conroy is transferring out to go to IMG academy.
Wow. That’s so unlike St. Ignatius players. Truly, a different time. I get moving out of state and to other schools, but now this. It’s happened in hockey with going to different leagues, but never football. And Will Conroy is transferring out to go to IMG academy.
They’d be better off if he did, and that’s not a knock on his coaching abilities. If you’re going to keep Franzinger around and give him a chance, need to get rid of the personalities that are bigger than the head coach. And there goes Lecharles Bentley as well I’m assuming. Adding him to the staff really improved you guys….
Welcome to the new world of high school football, following in the steps of hs basketball and the ridiculous farce that is college football. Surprise, there is an " I" in " Team" after all.Wow. That’s so unlike St. Ignatius players. Truly, a different time. I get moving out of state and to other schools, but now this. It’s happened in hockey with going to different leagues, but never football.
You are insane if you actually believe that. I’m not even close to the program and have heard from numerous people he blames other coaches on the staff to the O line and has never walked through a handshake line ever after a game. If that’s what ignatius needs then you are insane. The guy coached an O-line full of division players to like a 3-22 record or something. As someone who is close to Will this is the smartest decision he could have made. Ignatius football is a mess, and he did need to do what was best for himself. LB is out and you can thank all of yourselves for that. Great coach who simply cared about the kids and really bought in to kids who wanted it and took it serious. If Ignatius wants to be serious again, they need kids who take the sport seriously and act like they wanna be there.
