I am shocked that the people that helped force out the greatest coach in Ohio history turned on each other when it did not go as they thought it would.
Fact.I am shocked that the people that helped force out the greatest coach in Ohio history turned on each other when it did not go as they thought it would.
Yep, lb’s offensive line performed great the past two years….the guy is all about himself and “lb brands”. If he is out, good riddance. As someone who is close to Will this is the smartest decision he could have made. Ignatius football is a mess, and he did need to do what was best for himself. LB is out and you can thank all of yourselves for that. Great coach who simply cared about the kids and really bought in to kids who wanted it and took it serious. If Ignatius wants to be serious again, they need kids who take the sport seriously and act like they wanna be there.
We could have gone to seWell it can’t get any worse for the wildcats …… can it ?
40 year decision? Come on now.

Nope, they gave haddad and Washington the okay to be early enrollees. Is it possible that Conroy will be an early enrollee at Oklahoma and Ignatius admin frowned upon it ? I have no idea what the school's policy is on the issue.
Good points. I think they have to do a reset on the whole program. It’s in shambles.Under most circumstances I would say anyone who doesn’t want to be part of the program fully can leave. Anyone.
However, there seems to be a lot of underlying storylines.
I will say this- wish the players who left the best of luck- sincerely. But, they were part of two historically awful seasons and it’s not like staying likely would change things in 2025.
Looking forward to this once released. What a lineup, but not surprised as coach kyle is well known nationwide, and for good reason![]()

Building our Champions
Led under the direction of Elvis Grbac, over 150 coaches on staff will strengthen themselves as role models and mentors for our student-athletes. By Joe Mertens '15www.ignatius.edu
This program is quite interesting, especially if you read between the lines. This comes after the obvious lack of discipline and sportsmanship, which was so 180 from Kyle. To then have this program start, and for Grbac to mention Kyle and Restifo, but not the current HC, is something. Could just be reading too much into it, but I think he has much more of what it takes to lead the program at the top, and maybe this is the beginning of an instrumental influenceI thought it would have been him after Chico, but Franzinger really wanted it.
