A very angry Coldwater. I am just amazed anyone could put a running clock on Coldwwter. This Marion team may be better than the 2014 version?

This is the best ML they've ever had
Based on regular season I would agree. Think they only gave up 22 points all season, and had seven shut outs and 9 games ended with a running clock. Congrats to Minster on their game with Marion, only a 21 point margin, 2014 saw 3 MAC state champs as MAC #3 Minster took down Kirtland while #2 Coldwater and #1 Marion won their titles. Things definitely got easier for Marion once they reached the playoffs. This year though, Minster or St Henery will be lurking out there in the regional final.

I know people are assuming Northridge will lose to Indian Hills in the 1st round. I looked into the numbers and I don't think it is as cut and dry. Indian Hills has only beaten one team with a winning record all season. (6-4 Roger Bacon) They are also on a two game losing streak going into the playoffs.
Northridge has beaten 3 teams with winning records and has gotten better as the season has progressed. As shown by their 7 game winning streak and Conference title. They have been really balanced on offense the last 3 games, home field advantage, and they are playing their best football now.
Indian Hills (7-3)
Schedule record- 51-49
Finished 3rd in Conference
2 game losing streak
Avg 320 yds of Offense
242 yds rushing
77 yds Passing
Avg 32 ppg
Giving up 17.1 ppg
In Conference 13.2ppg
Northridge (7-3)
Schedule record - 48-52
Conference Champs
7 game win streak
Avg 417 yds of Offense
231 yds rushing
186 yds passing
Avg 32 ppg
Giving up 15.8 ppg
In Conference 9.4 ppg

I see a path for Northridge to win this game. If they can limit turnovers and limit Devlan Daniel, Indian Hills star RB, running the ball they have weapons to score and win like 28-14 or 38-24 type of game.

Not a whole lot of enthusiasm here in the TRC coming into the playoffs I see
I expected Covington fans to be going crazy on here this week. They are back! Deep run.........until they face their first MAC team.

I really have a difficult time getting up for what appears to be mostly an OOC weekend, and we all know how that went earlier in the year.

No they’re not they haven’t lost since week 3. They play a real team this week.
I still believe they are playing their best football of the year currently. Good enough to win a couple playoff games? Probably not. But early in the season I said Milton would lose a conference game or two this year , and I was thinking Lehman and Miami East. Never gave Northridge much thought.

Milton vs Miami East is an interesting TRC matchup in the playoffs. Looks like Milton won in the regular season. Northridge has a lot of momentum going into the playoffs. I think they can win 1 maybe 2 games if they can stay hot

Northridge can win one if they stay hot, round one is a home game for them with Indian Hill. IH is a 6 point favorite. Should they win, they would then go on the road to Clinton Massie, the top ranked team in the region. Not going to survive that one.

It's strange to think that none of the kids on the Covington roster have ever been in a playoff game. The interesting thing to see is if they can make it back next year. Their website has seven seniors listed, three juniors, 16 sophomores, and five freshmen. Maybe making to the playoffs will get more kids out next year.

The real strength sounds like it is in the sophomore class.

Congrats to all of the TRC teams making the playoffs. Nice to have at least two teams making it to round two.

Northridge win?
I found their score and tried to log right back on here to update it but the system must have been overwhelmed for a couple hours. Anyway , I see someone reported it. That was a far worse butt whooping than I expected.

lehman catholic (one of trcs best) vs ansonia (one of woacs best) who you got?
tigers by 2 scores

Really hate that this is how the Polar Bears season ended. They went a great run and had some historic wins. Hope this doesn't taint the accomplishments they achieved this year.
I don't think it will taint anything. They were undefeated in conference play, and anything can happen once two programs meet in the playoffs. They had a great 7 game stretch.
