this is the fairest take. the guy before stated when has trc been better? 2022, that milton team would’ve beaten any team, and i’m a woac guy.

i am aware ansonia was dam good. they wouldn’t of touched milton that year.

2024 is the season i am talking about; the trc had a better showing with covington beating arcanum and riverside beating ansonia. Now do I think if they play both those games over do i think woac would win? yes i would put every dollar i have.

But i do agree, after friday we will get a better grip
 
the woac/trc banter is something.

it's like arguing whether a geo storm is better than a dodge neon. an argument could be made for various aspects of each vehicle, but at the end of the day, they're both not great vehicles.

also, i like the dodge neon. it could beat ansonia.

Just a fun fact under Hall, the team that beat Ansonia in the playoffs went on to win state.

When compared to the MAC, yes I agree with your example. Yet if what you have is a Geo Storm, you still may desire to let your Dodge neighbor understand in what way yours is at least as good or better.

The WOAC has had a decent team or two in the last few years. Tri Village knocked off a MAC school a couple years back in the playoffs, something that Covington has not accomplished in 14 attempts.

NB 26 Ansonia 22 only fault of the Tigers was the fact they scored too quick

MSML 48 Ansonia 0 with a halftime score of 6-0 (only team to do this) then they pulled away and made it a typical MSML final score

Just a reminder the state title game was 38-0 in which the Flyers practically let off the gas after the half

Not the strongest but tougher and comparatively better, better traditions and they’re all rural towns so better fan bases as well. Mentally tougher top to bottom too.

Comparatively better? The only thing to compare would be week 1. Covington (1-6 TRC record) crushed arcanum (6-3 WOAC record) Bethel (2-5 TRC record crushed National Trail (4-5 WOAC record). The bottom of the TRC beat the middle of the WOAC. You could make an argument that the top of the WOAC is better, but that will be decided one way or another tonight. But to say that the WOAC is a stronger conference as a whole compared to the TRC doesn't hold water. I think both conferences are pretty equal.
 
Some really tough small school regions in our area are going to make it near impossible for a TRC or WOAC school to ever win a regional title. I assume the final score of the Lehman/Ansonia game should suffice in ending this argument. Hopefully it's broadcasted somewhere so I can watch from the comfort of my couch.

I actually think the WOAC is a little stronger. Which is weird, because didn’t Covington and Miami East want out because of the lack of competition? Or was that just yappi/huddle rumblings?

Miami East had some decent drives tonight (all passing, no rushing attack at all), but I was shocked how poorly their defense played. I really thought this would be a 1-2 score game.

Greenon and Bethel to the CBC. I heard they’ve applied but don’t know if it’s gotten anywhere.

Bethel doesn’t make sense. I don’t think they’d want to play in the Kenton Trail. Both Greenon and Bethel would be fine in the Mad River.
