2024 Federal League

This is subject to change obviously, because of transfers and injuries that will inevitably happen between now and Week 1, but here's what I've got

McKinley6-0 in Conference8-2 Overall
Jackson4-26-4
Lake3-36-4
Perry3-34-6
Green2-45-5
Hoover2-45-5
GlenOak1-53-7
Interesting take to have Jackson that high in the wins. I think this will be a down year for the polar bears

If one trick pony is a stab at us not winning another state title, I'd kindly like to remind you that Green is 1-2 vs us all time and your win is more of a one trick pony than our title win
Gbulldog graduated from a school with 40 OHSAA Team State Championships won over 10 different sports. Maybe that’s more what he was talking about.

Jackson has a very good QB and a lot coming back on defense. Should be better than last year.
I'm not sure I agree. They will have new play caller on O and had some staff turnover. It'll be interesting to see how this year goes. If they are sub 500 again... When does the heat turn uo?

I'd think 4-6 or 5-5

I also think GlenOak will be better than 3-7 and 1 league win.
I also think Hoover will finish better to. They just seem to find a way in the league to do that.

Who is the new OC?

McKinley losing to Avon and Cass Tech or Massillon?

I'll take it slow....Original post was about OHSAA State Championships, in ALL sports. Massillon has one in football and zero in any other sports. Not well rounded (not even close). Thus the moniker, One Trick Pony. If this doesnt make sense, I cant help.

You're probably right about Hoover. They do always seem to win a game or two you don't expect them to.

Pretty tough schedule
And a nice looking schedule, whoever made it did a good job
Just the wrong team, colors, mascot, opponents etc
Besides that 😂

They pushed out the coach who won them their first tournament game in 20 years for coach rohr… I don’t see his seat getting hot anytime soon.. even when they go winless.. which could be this year.

Perry had a 7 on 7 with D-4 Woodridge this morning that started around 10:15. The only things I took from it was Panthers QB Mattox was pretty accurate on 95% of his throws and there was only a few drops. Defensively, Perry never got beat deep at all. Woodbridge’s QB was good size about 6-4 or 6-5. Perry picked off two and knocked down a couple others. Not a whole lot you can take from these, IMO, I do know this, even using my Sun umbrella, it was too freaking hot! I left when the sophomores took over before it ended.

Hard to when they duck The Ville 😂😂😂 but in all seriousness how in the heck is Massillon a dirty program? Recruiting is part of life and obviously sports encapsulates that even high school sports. Why did you quote transfer, Massillon receives transfers so does Springfield, Hoban (just got a STUD ‘26 DB from Heights), Glenville, Winton Woods, etc. I can’t speak for other programs but I’ll assume it’s the same as Glenville, successful programs recruit themselves. Ted has PARENTS reach out to him, we had a ‘25 kid transfer at Christmas break spent the second semester at his new school and he wants to transfer BACK to Glenville. You’re an all fed fan so you should know McK and Glenoak football recruits. McK just bought in 5 transfers just to beat the “dirty program” and yes they may win this year and no one should talk about transfers. Families thought Massillon was the best football program for their kids and made a decision and their kids won a ring and many are going on to the next level. I give Massillon a (good natured) hard time just to be a troll but kick rocks with the recruiting, transfer, and dirty program talk.
Another school that thrives on recruiting defending Massillon...

I guess at least Massillon hasn't gamed the system to move down to D4 yet...

That's a very respectable schedule, but I don't think it prepares them for a deep playoff run. I think we will learn alot about the Bulldogs future as a program this season. Another mediocre season and early playoff exit will spell doom for the Dawgs. I like what green is doing and what perry has the potential to do. We'll see.
