What are you watching?

House of David: last episode. Making the ending tense when everyone knows the ending. They did a great job. And who knew Colonel Miles Quaritch would make a great Samuel the Profit.
Yea that was pretty amazing how they managed to do that. Absolutely superb depiction of one of the great biblical tales. Samuel stole the show in every scene he was in.

Here's what I'm watching:

Mobland: Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Tom Hardy - need I say more. Fantastic, nasty story with Peirce Bronson playing a mob boss. As an aside has any actress in the 21st century managed to land awesome roles in her elderly years like Helen Mirrem? Here she plays the wife of Bronson and is almost as tough as she was in 1923.

Wheel of Time: Fun to watch but the story is moving in ten different directions none of which make sense.

Wolf Hall season 2, titled "The Mirror and the Light,": Great followup to Wolf Hall. I guess we can never get enough of Henry the 8th and Cromwell. At least I can't.

Reacher: Goofy but fun and it had a happy ending!

Mobland..love Tom Hardy..... tough to understand what they are saying..

big fan of REACHER...

This is pretty smart. Hollywood loves wokeness and China’s $. Somehow they never get called out for it.

I've been watching Law & Order from the very beginning for the last year. I'm nearing the end of season 17.

What I have noticed is the writing went downhill quickly. The storylines were great early on and they won some/lost some. Nearing the end when it will eventually get cancelled, they win the most bizarre cases on the flimsiest reasons. I fully understand why the show was cancelled.

The bright side is that they were always ahead of the times. Season 17 is from about 2008. They are talking about things that will become much bigger stories over the next couple of decades.

1st episode of TLOU. It was ok, but the show is toast without Pedro Pascal. The potato girl will not be able to carry the show.
