Yea that was pretty amazing how they managed to do that. Absolutely superb depiction of one of the great biblical tales. Samuel stole the show in every scene he was in.House of David: last episode. Making the ending tense when everyone knows the ending. They did a great job. And who knew Colonel Miles Quaritch would make a great Samuel the Profit.
Fantastic wrap up. But DAMN it was depressing.finished 1923 tonight.... two thumbs UP
Yep and Spencer lived up to his billing.Watched the last episode of 1923. It was an entertaining series. The shoot outs in the season finale were epic.
IMO this was one of the best new shows of the year. The interaction between Billy Bob and his wife were priceless.Started Landman yesterday. Almost finished with the season. Hooked from ep 1. Billy Bob cracks my up.
Mobland..love Tom Hardy..... tough to understand what they are saying..Here's what I'm watching:
Mobland: Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Tom Hardy - need I say more. Fantastic, nasty story with Peirce Bronson playing a mob boss. As an aside has any actress in the 21st century managed to land awesome roles in her elderly years like Helen Mirrem? Here she plays the wife of Bronson and is almost as tough as she was in 1923.
Wheel of Time: Fun to watch but the story is moving in ten different directions none of which make sense.
Wolf Hall season 2, titled "The Mirror and the Light,": Great followup to Wolf Hall. I guess we can never get enough of Henry the 8th and Cromwell. At least I can't.
Reacher: Goofy but fun and it had a happy ending!
Bad cops gone bad. Finally started The Shield.
That sounds interesting. Like the actors too. I'll try and track it down. Thanks!Detectorists
