Agreed. But this isn't a business. Profit-making shouldn't be the only factor. Raising the price $1 every couple of years and tacking on transaction fees is a little hard on the wallet for some people.
It’s $8 for the Metro Athletic Conference, but you can buy tickets at the gate this year. Not sure if that’s the way with the suburban league or not.

The SLA is particularly quiet this year. Maybe some close games this weekend will generate some interest.

The 2 schools that seem to reload every year are Highland and Aurora. Strong youth programs over the last 20 years is the main reason. Barberton is a little less consistent but usually good. Tallmadge lost almost everyone to a graduating class that was it’s best in many years. Can they compete this year in the SLA? Everyone in the Conference should be rooting for CFalls to win it’s non conference schedule. The Suburban didn’t do the high level American teams any favor by moving the Black Tigers into the American Division because teams get virtually no 2nd level playoff computer points from them every year.

Predictions:

Barberton, Aurora, Highland and Tallmadge all make the playoffs.

Cuyahoga Falls shocks the SLA and finishes 5-5

Kent shows improvement

Revere and Copley are non competitive.

If the Falls finishes 5-5, then that would be huge for that school and that community.
Firestone, Springfield and North are their non league games. Very winnable. Add in that Copley, Revere and Kent dont figure to be very strong this year and 5-5 for Falls really is not unreasonable.

Can't wait for tomorrow night. These first games for everyone in the SLA should answer alot of questions.

Highland vs Hudson is the game that will answer some questions for me, because the Hornets lost so much and I’m not sure if they can reload that quickly.

1 6 that really awful.

Kent Roosevelt is leading at the half when they resume tomorrow. The SLA really needs them to win.
