10/20 Barberton (5-4) at Cuyahoga Falls (2-7) - Barberton by 35
10/20 Revere (4-5) at Kent Roosevelt (4-5) - Kent Roosevelt by 3
10/20 Tallmadge (4-5) at Copley (1-8) - Tallmadge by 3

It should be the most competitive weekend of football in the SLA this season.
 
Revere or Kent will finish the season 5-5, that is a positive step for either program.

Weather may play havoc with some games this week.

Who is Barberton most likely set to play in the first round of playoffs? On their Hudl, it says Shaker Heights, but I’ve heard Cleveland John Hay is another possibility.

Here is the current look at where teams are after week 9. Barberton could finish as high as 6 or drop to 11 with a win over the Falls, so it is hard to say who they will play in the playoffs.

Aurora at Highland was a physical game. Highland had more total yardage but Aurora got it done with a backup QB throwing game winning 25 yd td with about a minute and a half left in the game. Both Defenses played awesome
 
Well someone has to close out the 2023 Suburban American Thread so here goes, Aurora wins the Conference. Congratulations to the 32.7% of voters who predicted the Greenmen. Good luck to all of the Suburban American teams competing in the State playoffs!
 
We still have playoffs before we shut this season down. Still alive in the SLA:

10/27 Shaker Heights (7-3) at Barberton (6-4)
10/27 Midview (4-6) at Highland (8-2)
10/27 Revere (5-5) at Norton (10-0)
10/27 Alliance (6-4) at Aurora (9-1)

I'm expecting 3-1 or 2-2. Revere could surprise Norton but it will be a tough matchup for them.

Big games this week. Tough games for sure. I think Highland wins and Aurora falls in a close one
