Will likely join this group of Bomber backers when all is said and done.Clapper just got his first D1 offer from Pittsburgh.
Definitely depends on his ability to put on lbs while maintaining his quickness. Even if he only gets to 215-225, in a 3-4 scheme he could excel on the outside. Will likely join this group of Bomber backers when all is said and done.
Rocky Boiman, Luke Kuechly, Brandon Bryant, Steven Daniels, Matt Vogele, Mike Marshall, Fred Craig and Justin Hilliard.
Will he be in the mold of Boiman and Craig who could play either LB or safety in both HS and college?
Or the others who were strictly LBs?
I don't know if he stays in the Backer's fraternity for his next two years. He has shown that he has the speed to play the Adjuster role well. Given the strength for what presumably will be the LBs for next year, he might be better suited to take the reins of Adjuster. Of course, I'm not saying he wouldn't lead the pack at LB just that his services might be better suited in another role. Will likely join this group of Bomber backers when all is said and done.

LB Kobe Clapper received Tennesse today
He reported an opportunity to play witch is essentially a preferred walk on spot. This is still an honor and a potential path to a scholarship. Good luck Andrew.Weber reported an offer from South Carolina
Yep, that's on me. Words matter and reading is fundamental. I was scrolling and missed that key termHe reported an opportunity to play witch is essentially a preferred walk on spot. This is still an honor and a potential path to a scholarship. Good luck Andrew.
They're probably listing him as a QB since he enters the combines that way but based on his measurables and film realize he could change positions if needed. Hope he has a break out junior year.Vollmer picks up Akron. I wonder what he's being offered as (athlete, qb, rb, something else).
