Miamisburg?Other than Beavercreek and Northmont, it's up for grabs if you ask me.
I don't know should should Fairmont beat Wayne they could run the table. The only team left on the schedule that consistently beats them is Northmont and they do not look good this year. Not Fairmont either.... they have peaked in consistently beating Alter.
Not so fast. I expect a GWOC team winning region 2, but not sure which team that will be. LOL!The GWOC is cooked this season...a bunch of mediocre teams and some bad teams...none of these teams are regional champ material.
Not sure Springboro is getting enough credit here. They just destroyed Wayne and the Elder game was 13-6 at the start of the 4th quarter after their starting QB went out in the 1st quarter. We shall see!I don't know should should Fairmont beat Wayne they could run the table. The only team left on the schedule that consistently beats them is Northmont and they do not look good this year.
Think boro still has the stigma of last year's record on them. Like you said we shall see could be wide open and end with a 2-3 way tie for first. Not sure Springboro is getting enough credit here. I’ll give you that. I don’t know what in the world happened last yearThink boro still has the stigma of last year's record on them. Like you said we shall see could be wide open and end with a 2-3 way tie for first.
Remember. Winning the GWOC is good but last year's winner didn't win R2.4 weeks in, who does everyone think will win the GWOC?
So?Remember. Winning the GWOC is good but last year's winner didn't win R2.
So I was saying "Who cares" to your post. I'd rather have a regional trophy given the option is all I'm saying.
I'll agree, but only because R2 is the NFC LeastNot so fast. I expect a GWOC team winning region 2, but not sure which team that will be. LOL!
Who wouldn't...but my question was about who would win the GWOC and for some reason you act like a conference championship isn't worth anythingSo I was saying "Who cares" to your post. I'd rather have a regional trophy given the option is all I'm saying.
Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have but the region is better.Who wouldn't...but my question was about who would win the GWOC and for some reason you act like a conference championship isn't worth anything
After 5 trips to State and 3 trips to the championship game, who cares about the regular season...Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have but the region is better.
Kind of an odd statement from someone who has a breakdown every time his team loses in the regular season. After 5 trips to State and 3 trips to the championship game, who cares about the regular season...
It was a nice touch! About the only thing C Ville did well last night. Not a great program to watch right now. Not sure last time the Elks had 5 INT's and 6 TO's. A program built on Win Special Teams, Win TO's, Win the LOS. They lost a lot of SR's to the portal this year so hopefully they will improve as the season rolls and they get more experience.Wanted to give a shout out to Centerville for a very classy announcement prior to the National Anthem. The announcer acknowledged the difficulty facing Springfield residents these past two week, said there's no place for the hate speech happening, and said directly to Springfield that Centerville stands with them. I admit is was touching, and very much appreciated by the Springfield fans in attendance. Thank you Centerville.
GO CATS!!!!!!!
Is this the original Elks93?It was a nice touch! About the only thing C Ville did well last night. Not a great program to watch right now. Not sure last time the Elks had 5 INT's and 6 TO's. What was going on with your qb? Did the SHS defense really go after him and pressure him in a way he hadn't seen before? Or was it something else? Even your radio announcers were saying he should be pulled and was having a very uncharacteristically bad night. Hopefully he's not injured or anything like that.It was a nice touch! Why do you blame Mukes for everything bad that happens?Guessing at this point that Wayne’s QB1 is out the remainder of the season. If so, why not fire Mukes now and start the cleansing.
You guys have a really good wr from Dunbar but he is playing cornerYes, the problem was all his returning WR’s are on Springfield & Bellfountaines roster.
They decimated the roster from a skill standpoint when they transferred and just having to start over. Just need time & not kids that don’t want to be there.

Only if they somehow lose to Northmont...which would be a horrific screwup...this Northmont team isn't 3-4 years ago...He will be back in two weeks.
Wayne was 16 for 22 throwing the ball and had just 20 yards less than Fairmont in the game. Both had about the same amount of first downs. The difference in this game was Fairmont converted on 3rd downs, Wayne did not. Fairmont scored on every possession of the game. Did not see much of defensive adjustments. Wayne did not substitute much either on defense. The 10+ minute 3rd qtr drive put an end to the game. It did not help that Wayne started the game with an unforced fumble that Fairmont returned to the 2.
Let Hunter throw the ball down field..... every team knows what Wayne is going to do and they are doing enough to stop it. I am pretty sure Mukes is going to be gone after this season. Wayne will find a way to beat Northmont next week. It can't get much worse can it?
Coaches are ultimately responsible for preparing the players for each game. They also instill a culture of discipline. Neither exists in Mukes’ time in office. Coach Minton always said the players get credit when they win and the coaches are responsible when they lose. Why do you blame Mukes for everything bad that happens?
Totally agree. Mukes needs to be gone!!! Does the young new athletic director have the guts to fire him? All his staff need to go also. Hopefully they can get a good winning coach and build Wayne back up to what the fans are used to. It is painful to watch or listen to games. I feel really bad for the players as I am sure they are working hard. They do have athletes that have D1 scholarships, so there is talent, but they underperform week after week. The QB situation is unfortunate; however, what the heck is wrong with the defense??? They used to be so good, and now they arent even mediocre??? A really sad situation all the way aroundCoaches are ultimately responsible for preparing the players for each game. They also instill a culture of discipline.
