Another FOX Big Noon snoozer upcoming with UCLA at Penn State. That’s three straight weeks of low-rent Big Ten garbage matchups on alleged premium program Big Noon Saturday.
It’s hard when the Big Ten doesn’t have many good teams. It’s OSU, Oregon, and then Penn State? Pickings are slim.

The Big Nooner pretty much has to broadcast an Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn State game in that slot every week from a ratings standpoint.

There is a very high ratings floor for those teams, regardless of how trash the opponent might be. For game quality in that time slot, it hurts a lot that Oregon and USC are out west.

Agree, but USC lost to them and they continue to demonstrate an inability to tackle. I'm not sold on SC.
Agree. People might find it difficult to say, but teams like Indiana, Illinois and Rutgers just might be better than USC and Michigan this season.

None of those teams is better than USC. Maybe Michigan since they aren’t good this year.

It’s “is.” None is a singular noun. When you attack grammar, how about actually being correct?
Lol, you are describing multiple teams not being better. Either way, your statement that none of those teams is/are better than USC is/are nonsense.

Everyone applaud Michigan for finally leaving Ann Arbor for the first time this year. It’s October.

By the way, has there ever been a less relevant, less anticipated national title game rematch than Michigan vs. Washington?

Geez. Probably not.

For as many eyeballs the games get, the Big Ten is pretty horrible.

They should have their own relegation system and make the bottom half participate with the MAC.

Doesn’t make sense that a conference with this much money would be so bad on the field.

Sure it does. The talent concentration in the south is a massive advantage. The game is more national (hell, global in fact) than ever but kids still want their families be able to watch in person. Then with it being easier than ever to transfer, you get guys like Scourton who was overlooked in HS, goes to Purdue, blow ups and transfer back home to ATM.
