2025 Elder Football

I'll take the RB....#21. That kid set the tone from the start of the game with his physical play and he just beat the snot out of the Moeller defense.
I’m sure the huge holes the OL opened up had nothing to do with it

I feel like I’m on the ND football forums talking to the same regards who slobber over every 3* and think 5* are divas not worth the hype. The complete stupidity makes me want to puke my balls out of my mouth.

PR loves being a cuck for the other GCL schools. I hope this loss ruined his night.
You are a clown 🤡

I’ve been posting here for years. Show me an example where I have ever “rooted” for the other GCL South schools…in any sport?

I was glad to see Liberty win. They were clearly the better, more physical, and dominant team.

I’ve seen you defend Elder using social media to congratulate other GCL schools. It’s the biggest b**ch move in the world. Never saw Ohio St tweet a congrats to Michigan for winning a title.

The GCL Brotherhood is a regarded lie, you don’t have to root against the other schools, but if you’re actively rooting for them, that’s cucked behavior.

It seemed to me that Moeller took that game very lightly. Not sure why, but they didn't look prepared to play.

From the opening drive Liberty had no problem moving the ball on offense. Moe got a break on the interception then turned it right back over on downs (horrible play call on 4th down, reminded me of the Bengals)

Not sure why Moe got away from running the ball so quickly. Their play calling reaked of desperation. The long pass on the fake punt was just atrocious.

#21 for Liberty was running over the Moe defenders and literally throwing them off of him. I thought his physical play set the tone and Moe had no response for it.

Oh well Big Moe.... There's always next year. Lol

No idea how Liberty lost 2 games. They looked awesome. Plus, I think the weather was a real factor in limiting Moeller’s deep passing. I’m glad Moeller lost but still recognize Elder is a good distance behind them going into next yr, especially after 3 straight yrs of getting butt gaped.

Also, the way liberty punted is why you need to allow punters to get hit. He held the ball like he had the option to throw but instead would do the rugby kick. Coaches are taking unfair advantage of punter’s protected status.

I agree with this. Once the punter gets outside the pocket he should be fair game.

It drives me insane, especially when the Liberty punter looked like he had the option to throw on the punt. It feels like coaches are hoping their punter gets crushed to get the PF penalty.

Discussion for 2025 season. Anyone have updates to the schedule?

I heard captains for 2025 season will be Dugan, Estep, Tyrell Scott, Ruth, Uran. Should be a strong nucleus coming back. They need to find some skill on the perimeter and this team could be pretty good.

I wonder if Kerry Coombs would be interested in helping coach in some capacity this yr. I think Fortkamp was on his staff, Roden might’ve played for him.

Where do they find it? There’s no transfer portal.

With 4 away games I don't see Elder going to Ironton week 1. Elder probably makes more moeny off paying some random team to come to The Pit than Ironton would play Elder.
If Ironton comes to Elder week 1, that’s fair. Moeller went out to Ironton 3 years ago. It’s the middle of nowhere but it’s about an hr shorter commute than to Cleveland.

Moeller played in Ironton this season at the Gridiron Classic

Correct, but they played Mallard Creek from NC. My point was since Ironton scheduled Moeller a few years ago, maybe they’d be open to scheduling Elder.

I wasn't suggesting they play Ironton. Ironton hosts something called Gridiron Classic. Last year, they only had 2 games, but they usually have 3 games. Last year it was Ironton vs. St. Francis(Buffalo) and Moeller vs. Mallard Creek(NC). If Elder asked to play, they would get an out of state opponent most likely. It would be a week 1 game for 2025.

That’s a long way to go just to play a team from OOS. I think they should try to schedule Ironton, so long as they’re willing to come to Elder next year.
