If top 8 win, am I correct that puts Clay against AW?
Yep, 3v6. Would be fun to see both those QB’s on the same field. If top 8 win, am I correct that puts Clay against AW?
You obviously haven't seen much of Clay to know what Heintschel is working with in front of him. He creates so many things just on his own. Kinnee is obviously a special player, but his supporting cast is so much better. What Kinnee was able to do versus Whitmer and Perrysburg versus what heintsiel was able to do versus Whitmer and Perrysburg is all you need to know about who should be the Toledo blade player of the year
Colgate is a great school in a beautiful location. They seem to be recruiting Ohio pretty hard. They have been recruiting Avon pretty hard the last couple years, so maybe they do have an Ohio guy on the staff. It’s certainly an easy drive from northern Ohio. Anyway, I would love to see an unbeaten AW get a crack at an unbeaten Highland.Kinnee
QB a tough FPS position to get. Not telling anyone anything they don't know.
Grit doesn't do it unless they want to be a pracitce player or switch positions like Huron's Cody Thompson (bouncing around NFL practice squads at the moment). Colgate is a tough turn-down. It out New Englands New England. Expect George Bailey to run by.
How does a player from NW Ohio gets attention from Colgate or vise-versa? They have a coach from around here maybe?
Hamilton isn't even easy drive from northern Syracuse. You must know a special road without ice, foot snow, construction, old people pulling out of blind driveways and tractors. I tend to take the pike out of habit, then angle towards 20. I think I'd be smarter to take the southern tier then head north. Takes a bit longer but less traffic and pretty drive too.Colgate is a great school in a beautiful location. They seem to be recruiting Ohio pretty hard. Haha. Well, for a kid from NEO it’s not a bad drive. All I-90 most of the way, but yes…winter is a bit challenging up there.Hamilton isn't even easy drive from northern Syracuse. At this point, that's pretty much the only way it could happen. Or is that what you were saying? Of course I'd like to see Start meet-up with Avon but that's not happening. With that off the table, I'd probably root a bit towards Clay being they are on the good side of the river.
I don't think he ended up going anywhere. Didn't get the offers he was hoping for, especially D1. I think he had a couple of D2 offers (possibly Notre Dame College in Cleveland) but decided not to play in college. Not sure if he ever was going to Notre Dame, but that small college closed I believe.I’ve been curious about this and I’m hoping for some answers: What happened to Anthony Wayne’s Joe Caswell
That’s really disappointing. He was up there with Walendzak at Perrysburg, now one is at Toledo and the other is likely in college or joined the workforce. It would’ve really been something if BGSU recruited him so their rivalry continuedI don't think he ended up going anywhere. Didn't get the offers he was hoping for, especially D1. Yeah, he was a good athlete. My son got to know him a little bit their Junior years when they played CYO Basketball together. Won the CYO State Championship......LOL.That’s really disappointing. St. Ignatius may have one of the hardest non-prep schedules in America honestly, as they played arguably 7 of the Top 15 teams in the State across all Divisions. Sure they lost almost every game on it, but they probably would be 10-0 with AW or PBurg's scheduleD1R1 is kind of crazy this year. St. Ignatius, who is 1-9 and the #16 seed, has to play #1 Mentor. Iggy would probably beat almost every other team in that Region, with the exception of Mentor and St. Eds. Mentor only beat them 20-14 in Week 2. That's by far the best 1 vs 16 matchup in the state.
Toledo Central Catholic needed a big time come back to beat Iggy by 1.
Easily. The only team outside of Pburg and AW is Whitmer. And I don't think any of those 3 could beat Iggy.St. Ignatius may have one of the hardest non-prep schedules in America honestly, as they played arguably 7 of the Top 15 teams in the State across all Divisions. I mean Whitmer and Iggy had a common opponent this season and Whitmer won easily 42-14. Iggy had more trouble winning 35-21 on the road. I don’t think you sit here and say that none of those 3 can beat them with much certainty. They seem pretty evenly matchedEasily. The only team outside of Pburg and AW is Whitmer. Ignatius only lost to TCC by 1 and Whitmer lost by only 10, so I'd agree, match-ups could vary. Just my opinion, but I think AW is the only team that would have a shot at beating Iggy. To be fair, AW smashed both Whitmer and Perrysburg. Do you think any of these 3 would beat TCC? I don't and Iggy almost (probably should've) beaten them.I mean Whitmer and Iggy had a common opponent this season and Whitmer won easily 42-14. Iggy had more trouble winning 35-21 on the road. 0%What % chance do you give any NLL school to bring home the state title?

Agree with the others, but I'll say 0.0001%. And Whitmer has the only chance because D2 is better, top to bottom, than D1 this year. What % chance do you give any NLL school to bring home the state title?
Whitmer & Nap. make State Semi's.What % chance do you give any NLL school to bring home the state title?

I suppose Napoleon could win their first two games and make the Regional semis, but that would be it,Whitmer & Nap. make State Semi's.
Congrats 2 da Blue Streaks. Is Napoleon only team left still playing ball outta the nll Cardinal?I said weeks ago the playoffs would not be kind to the NLL and the Cardinal division proves to be pretty awful. Ross lost to a very good Highland team 54-7, BG was getting rolled by a 6-4 Defiance team 30-0 at one point, and Clay got beat at home against Sandusky 35-28. The Cardinal division was putrid.
BTW congrats to Sandusky and their HC who was named HC in July (I think).
