Sounds like he was kicked off the team one week, then brought right back on as soon as they realized they needed him to keep winning. You know, typical Whitmer behavior lol.Does anyone know what happened with Napoleon Jemison of Whitmer??

I wonder what he did. BCSN talked about it being controversial to bring him backSounds like he was kicked off the team one week, then brought right back on as soon as they realized they needed him to keep winning. You know, typical Whitmer behavior lol.
And not the first time. This quit/booted/comeback has occurred the last three seasons. I see a pattern.Sounds like he was kicked off the team one week, then brought right back on as soon as they realized they needed him to keep winning. You know, typical Whitmer behavior lol.
You saying it's ok to sit behind a screen name and judge a kid if you do know something about on or off the field? It's easy to sit behind a screen name and judge a 17 year old kid that you know nothing about on or off the field.
I see your point with judging a 17 year old, but I think Irish Buffalo and Toledo Guy were attempting to state that other programs are more strict about allowing a player to comeback after leaving/getting kicked off and start right away. It's easy to sit behind a screen name and judge a 17 year old kid that you know nothing about on or off the field.
I don't think Southview has won a League game. Didn't Cougars lose to BG 21-14?Current standings....

I believe they certainly have a chance. Echleberry is a special player. One of those kids that has "it."Bold prediction, Findlay will win 1 in the next two weeks. So either Pburg or Whitmer are going down - not sure which
My comment was about the behavior of the coaches not sticking to their disciplinary guns when they have to value integrity over wins. It's easy to sit behind a screen name and judge a 17 year old kid that you know nothing about on or off the field.
It will be interesting to see what he does in the spring. Will he also try to follow is dad in the discus ring? He qualified for the Jr high state meet last year.I believe they certainly have a chance. Echleberry is a special player. One of those kids that has "it."
I did see UT offered him. Many more to follow and I am told he is a stud pitcher as well.
Kid is a stud for sure. Did not happen tonight as it appears Perrysburg had a coming to Jesus moment this past week and got really focused. lolIt will be interesting to see what he does in the spring. Was talking about ToledoGuy's post aboutYou saying it's ok to sit behind a screen name and judge a kid if you do know something about on or off the field?
Was that a non-sequitar or do you have a concern? It helps if you quote the post. I'm not seeing any judgment on a kid here.
So you know what led to him being kicked off, the stuff that transpired after and what he had to go through to get back on the team. Since none of us have that info, you just may want to stick to comments about what is happening on the field. Talking to some buddies in that area, most people have no idea what hardships these kids go through on a daily basis, need to leave it at that and just wish the kid well.My comment was about the behavior of the coaches not sticking to their disciplinary guns when they have to value integrity over wins.
Was talking about ToledoGuy's post about
"Sounds like he was kicked off the team one week, then brought right back on as soon as they realized they needed him to keep winning. You know, typical Whitmer behavior lol."
I was referring to him sitting here and not knowing anything about the situation or athlete and making a negative statement without even knowing the facts makes him look foolish....unless that is what he was going for?
I saw he did not play. I hope it is nothing serious.Perrysburg had a nice bounce back game.
Whitmer vs. Northview was almost unbearable to watch. Unfortunately I’m going to have to watch more of the same when they take on Springfield week 10. Heard AW scored 6 TDs on them in the first quarter.
Was hoping to see Echleberry next week but heard he got hurt?
Still teaching at middle school and assistant athletic director for Findlay and assistant coach for Liberty-Benton.Is Ritzler still around?
And Waite travels to the Don to take on the Little Giants next.I know it's not NLL related.....but Lima Senior was up on Toledo Waite 79-0 at HALFTIME!!! How is that possible? Then, no scoring in the 2nd half. 79-0 final. Wow.
I'm sure Long is safe no matter what. Shouldn't be, but mediocrity is apparently acceptable on North St these days. The Little Giants are in position to finish 5-5. There could be a bit of a shakeup with teams above them in the region which would move Ross up but it doesn't appear to be enough to get them into the eighth spot. If they finish 5-6 or better is Long safe?
I'm hoping for a Ross-Sandusky playoff matchup. The Little Giants are in position to finish 5-5. I am eminently aware of the situation with Napoleon...and what some students go through in WLS daily with food uncertainty, utilities being turned off on them through no fault of their own, home insecurity, and how much that affect's a student's ability to focus and truly "be a kid".So you know what led to him being kicked off, the stuff that transpired after and what he had to go through to get back on the team. My comment was completely about a pattern over years by the coaching staff and I will remain firm on that. Whitmer seems to be the only school in the area where "Zero-tolerance" means something completely different than what would be generally defined by the public and it happens across all sports.
Hope he takes his 2nd chance and does well with it, he is a super talented player, and that's that.
Lol...Central is just as bad, they hold people accountable, it just ends up being the women's basketball coach instead of the football coach.Let me see. how many public and private schools have people posting been privy too..... lol
