2024 Northern Lakes League....both divisions

Lol...Central is just as bad, they hold people accountable, it just ends up being the women's basketball coach instead of the football coach.
And you just said "Whitmer seems to be the only school in the area where zero tolerance means something completely different"....you can't even lie well when you contradict your own post. Get real though, many schools "bend the rules" as you see it, you are only kidding yourself to think Whitmer is the only one.

My favorite one is when a former area player, that also played at UT and now coaches on Cherry St sexually harassed a UT GA and the GA was removed and said player was not punished....or staying on Cherry St, when a former "elite" RB's baby momma was kicked out of CC for getting pregnant but nothing was done to said RB....cause we all know he was innocent....so please tell me about "zero tollerance"....

This season was very unexpected in my opinion. Clay was my favorite to win the division, but I expected Napoleon to be close behind them. Now they’re fighting to not be winless in league play against the previous seasons league champs, who are also winless. BG and Fremont Ross came out of no where for me, I didn’t expect them to be playing for a 2nd place finish in Week 10.

I think we all know with Montgomery at QB, Findlay would’ve likely been a little better, but I did expect Perrysburg and AW stop the league. I didn’t expect Whitmer to beat Perrysburg, but with a win the Jackets will clinch a share for Whitmer and themselves. Still, despite the exciting season, the only team with a remote chance to bring hold a state championship is Anthony Wayne, and I don’t see them making it past Highland or Avon

Anthony Wayne-34 Perrysburg-21
Toledo Whitmer-56 Holland Springfield-0
Findlay-42 Sylvania Northview-0
Bowling Green-35 Fremont Ross-31
Napoleon-28 Sylvania Southview-20
Oregon Clay-55 Toledo Rogers-12

AW is boss. If I had to pick one Toledo area coach for big boy football (DI-DIII) it is Andy Brungard, hands down (Lindke is growing on me). The Generals play D, do not turn the ball over, and run the rock. Colgate is getting a steal in Kinnee.

Heintschel will probably get Blade POY but it should be Kinnee.

Ross absolutely surprised me tonight. I thought BG would be a much tougher test than they turned out to be. Little Giants played their best game of the season.

BG's wins were against some very awful competition. Yeah they played Clay tough, but that might of been the Helene game IIRC?

Ross did suprise alot of people with their play on the second half of season. Reality sets back in next week when they travel to one of the 10-0 teams.

I agree with everything except POY. If I was picking one player in the area I’d still take Heintschel but Kinnee is deserving of Buckeye division POY. His passing tonight was nice to see.

What Kinnee was able to do versus Whitmer and Perrysburg versus what heintsiel was able to do versus Whitmer and Perrysburg is all you need to know about who should be the Toledo blade player of the year

Kinnee
QB a tough FPS position to get. Not telling anyone anything they don't know.

Grit doesn't do it unless they want to be a pracitce player or switch positions like Huron's Cody Thompson (bouncing around NFL practice squads at the moment). Colgate is a tough turn-down. It out New Englands New England. Expect George Bailey to run by.

How does a player from NW Ohio gets attention from Colgate or vise-versa? They have a coach from around here maybe?

If you put each QB on the opposite team the results would be the same if not better for AW and worse for Clay imo…
