2024 Massillon Tigers

Played Walsh in 1989 playoffs. Walsh was beating the crap out of us at the half 24-7. Gary Wells our D-line coach went haywire on everybody in the locker room at halftime. He would probably be arrested for some of those things today. But we came out in the 2nd half and blistered them. Final score was 42 - 24.
I believe Vrabel was on that WJ team.

Looking forward to this weekends...."Hoban beat Lake by....McKinley beat Lake by....Massillon only beat McKinley by....so Hoban will beat Massillon by...." posts.
Transitive property in sports 🙄 If Hoban and Massillon play for the trophy which I think they will. It will be a narrow one score Hoban win due to their improved passing game.

They must of turned it up the last few weeks because most of the year I've been hearing how Hobans offense hasn't been as good as it was the last few years

They changed their starting QB. His game against was first start, he only passed for about 60 yards but he put up some nice numbers the next few games but none of those defenses were as good as Massillon’s.

Transitive property doesn't work in sports only in math. I remember one time an article appeared in the Akron newspaper and it was a column of college football scores starting with Alabama beat Texas which beat, Lsu, which beat Missouri which beat so and so etc,etc all the way down to Kent State beating someone and the reporter said if you go by the transitive property of who beat who 1 and 11 Kent State should be the national champion.

Was there. One of the best comebacks in Tiger history.

I wonder if they were prepared to throw the ball more often in the game against Glenville, but when they got a 2 score lead and extended it to a 3 score lead in the 2nd quarter after a fumble return to the 1, there was no need to do anything but manage the game and run the clock as long as the defense was keeping Glenville off the board.

They were still run heavy against Central York and St. Ed, but they opened it up more against Firestone.

That’s what a smart coach would do.
