2024 Massillon Tigers

Under region championship, you have 14.
After the graphic reads ‘a breakdown of the record of the Massillon Tigers in the OHSAA playoffs’

It says record in region championship games…
With wins and losses.
Massillon has won 14 of those games
Hence…

Because (go slowly with me here)
Massillon
Has
Only
Won
14
Regional
Championship
Games
Out of
The
19
They’ve
Played
In.

There is not a category shown with amount of total region championships awarded.
There is a big difference between the two.

I’m correct here, you are being plainly stubborn.
You’re insinuating that I am providing wrong information when I absolutely am not in my graphic.

Going forward it’s all your problem…Not mine.

I’m not insinuating anything. I’m just posting the accurate info concerning the Tigers’ 16 region championships. (Final 4’s) 🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔

I was confused too but both can be right. Massillon does in fact have 16 regional titles including a couple that preceded the playoff expansion.

Typical response from a tool that never thinks he is wrong but whines when he is proven to be.

So we should be back to 25th

Has Massillon and Walsh Jesuit ever played in football before? I can see that being one of the final 4 games in Division 2.

Played Walsh in 1989 playoffs. Walsh was beating the crap out of us at the half 24-7. Gary Wells our D-line coach went haywire on everybody in the locker room at halftime. He would probably be arrested for some of those things today. But we came out in the 2nd half and blistered them. Final score was 42 - 24.

Epic comeback, thank you.

Since I had nothing better to do.

Over the years (1893 – 2023) Massillon has played 216 different opponents. Of these, 42 were from other states or Canada, and 11 were non-high school (mostly college teams played in the early 20th century). That leaves163Ohio High Schools played. Eliminating teams Massillon has played two or fewer times (88 teams), and also eliminating teams we haven't played in the last 100 years not counted above (5 additional teams), that leaves 70 Ohio teams. Massillon has a winning record against 62of these teams, an even record against two teams, and a losing record against the following:
Cleveland Saint Ignatius 2-12, Cincinnati Moeller 2-11, Lorain 0- 4, Toledo Scott 0- 4, Toledo Whitmer 2- 3, and Upper Arlington 2- 4.

Teams that we may meet in the playoffs include Ashland (1-1 record) and Akron Hoban (3-3 record).

NOTE: All information is from the Massillon Tiger Booster Club web site and depends on my ability to count:unsure:

Add Marion Harding to teams we have even record against (1-1) My bad you said teams with 2 games or less don't count. Ok so besides Hoban who is the other team we have a even record against? because Ashland doesn't count either
