2024 Massillon Tigers

You don't read well. I said had nothing so with their how their fans acted towards us. I said it's because their fans wants Massillon to lose at every chance they have
Yep always me that don’t understand

It's not wrong lol it's a matter of choice and I'm sure not going to back someone who wants me to fail.. sorry. Majority of the Buckeye fans I know don't root for Xichigan either

Two wrongs is both fan bases can be trash
Not sure about your reading skills
Got your bifocals near

Dude you started with our fans were yelling at Mck people and after I said it wasn't that you brought it up again. Has to do with them wanting us to fail.Listen not rooting for your rival is not fans being trashy. If your so sensitive about how we act towards Mck fans go s#ck off Mck

I agree re: Hoban but their big back can be contained. We held him to 62 yards and Walsh did a pretty good job on him too.
That may be why Hoban has been starting Hayden who is the better passer and moved the other quarterback to receiver and Josh Cribbs son is now back up quarterback. They also threw more against overmatched Firestone Friday. Those passes were practice for tougher games down the road. Without a good passing attack no runner can have success cause teams can stack the line with numbers. That is why even Sperling struggled sometimes.

Sorry ,I'm just saying bro your basically saying if I or anyone don't root for Mck thats trashy fan behavior and two wrongs don't make a right. That's lame AF bro it's a choice you don't have to root for your rival that don't make you wrong if you don't.

Not at all what I said

McKinley has NO OFFENSE at all. The Pups just put up 49 points in there first play-off game. McKinley has a rematch with Jackson next.

The Bulldogs should/could have beat Massillon and you know it. Good luck to Massillon in your next play-off game.
I guess your entitled to your opinion, no matter how crazy it is. Go bulldogs

Avon’s QB was out for the first playoff game, second half of the regional semi, the regional final and state semi last year. They went a long way without him, but they were much better with him.

There are some key players from last year that graduated from Avon. OT now at Michigan, RB now at Cincinnati, S at Ohio U, S at Colgate, G at Slippery Rock. Those are obviously big losses, but the players who replaced them have done very well and Avon is very good. I would say losing the RB, Caffey, is probably the most impactful loss from last year. The RBs are good, but Caffey was an elite RB.
I agree on Caffey. RB has been by committee this year and good but Caffey was the best RB in school's history. That being said, there were 15 starters against Hoban last year that were Juniors and Sophomores, so now a year older. This senior class may be Avon's best ever with #5 at QB leading the way. WR, DL, LB, TE are loaded and a lot of depth on this years team across the board. Lot of guys going to be on college rosters next year.

A look at Massillon in the OHSAA playoffs
Canal Winchester is 0-2 vs Stark County schools and has not scored a point against both Perry and Massillon in the two games.
Massillon has now won 7 consecutive games in the OHSAA playoffs, the Stark County record for most consecutive wins is 9 by McKinley in 1997, 1998, 1999.View attachment 68316
Pretty cool graphic 🧡🖤

But will it pay off and they finally break the Hoban curse ?

Looks like Massillon will break that if they can win their region

Perhaps, but that's a somewhat meaningless statistic now that we have the participation trophy playoffs. The first two or three rounds are gimmes to any decent team. Week 13 is where the playoffs used to start. Or if you want to go all the way back, week 15.

I agree 1000% but unfortunately those in the future will see what we do the same way as looking back on the 70’s and 80’s and say that’s how they did it then, shrug and move on…and the internet battles that will exist have been played out the same as they are now.

FYI. The Tigers have 16 Regional Championships, per the OHSAA website.
