Honestly I don't think there was a thing wrong with the signs that said no means no after a rape scandal. That's rape awareness...NOW maybe what they were doing is the reason. Some of the village idiots had wigs on and some of the other were chasing them around the bleachers like they were trying to get the girls... I thought it was funny as hell(of course not the rape part but the mocking of Steubenville)
The Original Village Idiots were crazy as hell, the new kids are just like any teams student section no shirts and body paint. The Village Idiots of old use to have a couch with wheels and they would pull it behind a pickup truck in the old band practice field. I remember before the one Mck game the principal had to come after them because they were setting a bunch of sh#t on fire in the parking lot. You knew before they entered the stadium because they would drive down that back road behind the endzone and be yelling and screaming through a megaphone.

I believe what Murph was trying to reference is their school district's academic performance given the relatively modest household income in the area. I haven't seen the data since COVID, but pre-COVID they punched significantly above their weight when it came to academic performance adjusted for median income. Lemme dig around on the Internet a bit and see if there's anything more recent.


EDIT: yeah looks like the Plain Dealer hasn't crunched the #s again since 2019.

You left out the ones who had "RAPISTS" painted on their chests. And the kids werent doing it to promote rape awareness, they were doing it to instigate.

Am I reading this right, are playoff games on Friday excluding the Thu and Sat night championship games?
 
Not seeing why D2 which will probably bring in higher attendance than any other division
And most certainly will if Massillon’s in it
Is in a Thursday night
Seems like a bad business decision
Maybe cause they know we will show up regardless and other teams may show up more on a Friday or Saturday
 
I have to comment on Becca Moore's Hall of Fame speach..
What an outstanding individual. I encourage you to watch the video. She does so much for all students of Massillon. Coach Moore referred to her as the Paul Brown of football wives and the "real coach Moore"
I don't ever recall a coaches wife being so involved in the betterment of all Massillon students. What an asset she is, not only to her children and husband but to everyone she interacts with. I am so proud of what she is doing in our community. She truly is the first lady of Massillon football. God has blessed us all through your many blessings. My "Thankyou ma'am", does not begin to relay the honor it is to have the Moore family call Massillon home.

And to think of the crap she went through on a certain (no longer with us) Massillon site several years back. She is ABSOLUTELY a benefit to all of Massillon.
