We also had another kid out there not on a roster I could find. 64 was the number I believe. And to add to starters who didn't play, obviously 94 is done for the year but Fair did not play either. I have no idea on the reasons or injuries outside of 94.Good question lol it appears to be Team

It's not Nates job to accommodate Big reds line up at the time. We were getting blown out not you. They can play whoever they want in a game. If that's the reason you think than Reno is a real P#ssy. I've never heard anyone whine about that. Usually if a team is up and leave their starters in that is what's frowned upon. We all know the Reason Reno don't wanna play Massillon and it isn't that. I've heard it many times from your fans " we are not on Massillons level now" also heard from people mostly not from Massillon why they feel the game isnt played.It was a bonus game; the series ended at six.
It may be another hiatus for Massillon vs. Steubenville on the football field

In my opinion, Nate's decision to leave his ones in against Big Red's frosh/soph during the blowout caused them to lose interest in the game, and now 9 years later, the game no longer makes sense for them. Coach Hall and Coach Sac were at least on the same page.
*After defeating Massillon, Big Red went to 3 straight state championships.
* Since the 2017 season Massillon has been in the Title game or final four every year with three straight title games from 2018-2020 and again in 2023 winning the championship, but yeah we will go with Nate left Massillons starters in when they were getting their butt kicked sure. BTW not sure if the kid was considered a star player as a freshman but when he came to Massillon year after the scandal the one kid involved was most Definitely your star player and running back because I remember our defense hammering him every time he had the ball and was carted off the field in the first quarter.

Right, you guys are on another level NOW. I'm just reminding you that NO ONE knew Nate was going to right the ship that fast and that the 2016 and 2017 teams were just as good, probably better than the 2015 Big Red team that beat your brains in. Meaning no one was scared at that moment; that's actually one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I'm betting people in Massillon were thinking Nate might've been the wrong hire after going 4-6. But whatever, keep thinking 4-6 Massillon scared off Big Red back in 2015.
Two kids were involved, and only one ended up returning, and he only played his senior year. You could've considered him a "star" LB on a very mid-Big Red team; I think he was D4 All-District, possibly all-state that year, and played at YSU. The other kid was a transfer, and he never returned. There was no running back involved.

If we play them tomorrow, never or if Steubenville falls off of Ohio and claimed by West Virginia Ohio wouldn’t shed a tear

lol every team Massillon beats the tar out of leaves their starters in against our jv and low on the depth chart kids. If that was reason to cancel a series with a team we would really have nobody to play

Series Record since renewing??? YES one kid was a RB/WR and maybe he played linebacker too if I'm not mistaken.Malik Richardson,easy to remember, sometimes when a kid don't understand NO MEANS NO a p.o.s. football player gets a bounty put on their head for a game. We purposely punished that kid every time he touched the ball.Trust me I remember him dragging his leg and getting carted off the field. It was a good rivalry but hey enjoy playing Linsly school of the blind and long Island sisters of the poor maybe they will help prepare for TCC

Licking County League fan here...thinking about making the drive to watch the Tigers play Licking Heights in Round 1, since that seems like the playoff matchup that will occur according to Drew Pasteur. The Tigers will pound the Hornets, but I've never been there, and as an avid football fan and a supporter of LCL teams I find it intriguing. Is it worth it to go, anything to look for or take in while there?

It will be a exciting atmosphere to experience if you have never been here. With that being said sorry about the unfortunate round 1 draw for your Hornets. Since your team I know nothing about I'm sure myself and Tiger fans would like to hear some information on your team. I personally always like to see new opponents line up against the Tigers and I'm pretty sure we have never played before.
