2024 Federal League

Not many players on the freshman squad...they weren't bad...but the most they had was 20 kids...8th grade has 35...and had an A and B team

I don’t know too much about some of our younger guys.. do we have any bigger lads coming up to fill those voids on the line?
Glancing at the roster and just remembering the kids on the sideline, the answer is no, beside #79, not sure if he has potential or not though.

Here's my final record predictions for the Federal League this year.

McKinley 6-0 in conference; 8-2 overall
Jackson 4-2 in conference; 7-3 overall
Hoover 3-3 in conference; 6-4 overall
Green 3-3 in conference; 6-4 overall
Lake 2-4 in conference; 5-5 overall
Perry 2-4 in conference; 4-6 overall
GlenOak 1-5 in conference; 3-7 overall
From August 19. I wasn't too far off. I did underestimate Perry a little bit, and thought GlenOak would be more competitive than they were.

Is the fed looking at adding teams? Heard there were some knocks on the door.....
There is at present only room for one more school for the FED which I would consider Wadsworth or Stow the most desirable.
Medina joining the SUB is already having a domino effect on the league and others in NE Ohio.
SUB big school division becomes: Medina, Solon, Stow, Highland, Hudson, Nordonia and Wadsworth.
Small school becomes: Mayfield, Kenston, Aurora, Twinsburg, Barberton, Copley, Revere and Brecksville.
The FED should only consider one school though and that is Massillon.

That's what is kinda funny about it all - the loons say "we don't want in" and the fed says "we aren't looking to expand"

but outside of football - I would be surprised if you don't see the two sides scheduled up in just about every sport yearly.

My response to your last sentence is NEVER!

I just don't know who they would realistically add, I mean yeah Stow would be a possibility, but the only logical choice is Massillon, but that ship has sailed.

Now that the Fall sports season has come to an end for the Federal League and Stark County schools I wanted to give an update on how the schools and athletes did this fall.
Congrats to Uniontown Lake senior Daniela Scheffler, who won the Division 1 Girls Cross Country State Championship. Congrats to Minerva girls on their Division 2 Cross Country State Championship. This is their 3rd State Championship in the last 4 years.
Falling just short of the title were the Marlington girls Volleyball team who were State Runner up in Division 4.
Also, Jackson senior Eli Ilg finished 3rd in the D1 Boys Cross Country race and Fairless freshman Brice Fuller finished 5th in the D2 Boys Cross Country race.

where was he going to go, or was he going to resign?
Minerva.

The Minerva Dairy Company is tired of the non-stop losing and ready to unleash untold amounts of cash to bring back Minerva Lion football.

We're talking a BellStores/Tuslaw level of financial largess.

Scott Garcia already has comfortably moved into the Minerva Dairy operations for the off-season:
