What talent did Moeller have?? They had a two wr and rb, db go d1… that’s it.

What? I said he’s close to being a P4 recruit. IU and Mich St have been looking at him.

And I’m not crapping on them, but I don’t buy that Re quitting is not a big deal.

They were great HS players, but not enough to get over the hump vs Moe or West. Again, Elder isn’t far off when you add that level of talent with just 1 or 2 high level skill players. The added athleticism on the edge/boundary changes everything.

He’s going to Toledo which is in the G5. But again, that’s not a put down. I wouldn’t mind seeing him get some touches at RB in short yardage situations

Again, this is high level cope. The difference in that playoff game was their Secondary making plays in the RZ.
 
And frankly, Elder doesn’t need to match West 1 for 1 in terms of athletes, because Ramsey is a better coach than Bolden. But when they have 5-8 P4 recruits and Elder has 1-2 that’s just not a level playing field.
 
I’m saying.. before you get on this and shot on the team and coaches know football. Our d will be good. Those young kids you mentioned i hope rise up. Brayden should have a big yr. I do agree there are questions.. hard schedule. But you rattled off 5 future p4 guys.. believe this yr is their yr. What makes elder special is the people and community… we don’t recruit. So follow suite…
i trust yrs of coaches and dna of kids on team. We can win the gcl. St x has all those guys back.. we beat them last yr. Kids are hyped too.. recruiting is about relationships and who you know.

Players make plays.. if you good you make plays and change game. We beat ourselves vs west. No p4 player changed game. Thier dl.. d3 schools.. was thier key.

That whole line of thinking is ghey. 20 years ago, neither QB would’ve been at Elder. They can expand the pool of talent without sacrificing what makes the school special

No, West controlled the 2nd half. They gave up over 100 yards rushing to the QB.
 
Georgie, cooper, Dugan, ditullio, db’s, uran.. i believe the d will be really good. Two good qb’s, bayden.. big tackle.. James… watch out.. we can be sneaky good! Could be undefeated going into Ed’s.

The DL is where I think they’ll be very good. The twins, Broxterman, Binion, Kittles. Is McKenna moving to DL too? They’ve got depth there. And they should be undefeated going into Eds, that’s not a particularly high bar.

You’re also way too close to the players to be objective, I can tell by how you post, you’re a student.

i love football.. kids playing. I watch just like you no skin in the game. I think most underrated lb in Ohio is on st Ed’s. I loved elder for 20 yrs when we moved in west side.

We have Boeing, gudulli, uran, Sandoss, tackle, qbs, many that can catch and make plays… let’s just see who rises up! I believe we have just as much talent this year.. i think we have had great talent last few yrs.. 2019 state finals! Top 20 last decade… don’t get that with no talent! Give this team a chance to play

That’s the problem, they don’t have a lot of guys that can make plays on Offense.

You said we have a big young guy 6’2! Can he run? If so.. you got last yr rb.. fast! I think both rb’s are back aren’t they?? Not many fast like flowers but those guys are good! Not a lot of 4.4 around… Moeller won’t have that and neither will st x or LaSalle
