Can someone give an analysis on wth Carmen was doing the other night? How can this guy still be on the Roster? Downright pathetic performance the other night!!
 
I think 2.5 mil is saved if Carmen is cut, so it needs to happen. He's somehow gotten worse.
The OL just doesn't have depth. Cody Ford as the best backup is frightening.

Carmen counts for $2.3 mil against the cap this season. If the Bengals cut him, they would save $1.675 mil and the rest would be dead cap $$$. He’s a 2nd rd pick so the team may not want to give up on him just yet. Plus, who could they get for $1.675 mil who would be as good as him?

If Burrow stays upright, the Bengals are a playoff team but the front office needs to make one of his wr’s happy with a new deal. Sign Chase to a 4 year, $125 mil + with $100 mil guaranteed. It’s the going rate, just get it done.

They could get me for $1.6M. I'm in my 60s, but just about as good as him. Need to add some weight though, I'm only at 250 as of today.
 
Evans was going to be the 4th RB so not a big loss. The OL will always be a worry. The Bengals will have to pickup some other teams cuts to fill out the roster....or at least they should.
 
I think Chase's agent knew a deal wasn't coming this year. The only player the Bengals have extended before year 4 was Burrow. $40m/year extension may be about right after this year, and I think his agent is trying to set the stage for that.

Chase will get his 40 million per year (extension) now or the asking price will go up next season.
 
This will be an unpopular opinion but Chase saying he will determine if he plays or not Sunday (I think he will) is BS. Under contract support your teammates and get back on the field. Won't happen but if he does not play Sunday trade him.
 
3 Predictions for today:
1. Mike Gieske has a big game.
2. Bengals have 3 picks on defense
3. Bengals roll at home Chase or no Chase.

If Chase does not play, trade him.

Early in the game but this is about as close to a lay-up you can get for your 1st game. Need to win these games to get home field in the playoffs. Maybe play the starters some in the preseason to avoid these slow starts.
 
Why in the f**k are you going for the strip instead of making the tackle. Absolutely regarded.

That would be a good idea considering they play in a division where everyone is at least fringe playoff caliber.

Starting 0-2 or 0-3 every year and airballing at least one layup type of win puts enormous pressure on every game on the backend of the schedule.
