South could be a sleeper this year. They have 3 or 4 girls from the basketball team that are coming out, and they were pretty solid softball players at one. If they can shake the rust off, they could surprise. R Montgomery and A Norcia are the only returning starters.
South has no pitching and only 2 top travel players and 1 is a fresh and the other a soph and before everyone starts the you dont gotta be a travel player to be good . I already know this but out of the last 5 years in this county 97 out of a hundred d1 players all were on travel teams . The point is south is not very good or very well coached they only practice 3 times a week .

The question was who wins the NBC...Louisville is always tough along with Minerva and Marlington, however, ws23ahater just to get your facts straight, South may be the sleeper as 11 jv/var girls have played travel ball.ws23ahater
The point is practice shouldn't start until March 8th (OHSAA) regulations... so how could you know that they only practice three times a week? Plus, they have a new coach, so how can anyone judge him?

Louisville won't be able to sneak up on anyone this year after surprising everyone last year. Most of Louisville's team is back so I'd call them a favorite. Alliance has a very good pitcher, but what else?
Louisville is real good they may well be the top team in the nbc .
They'll find out just how good they are due to Coach Givens scheduling some more Fed teams this year.
Good idea. They have to "go thru the Fed" to get out of the district so they need to play tougher competition during the season to prepare.
They were tops in the NBC last year and I believe very unsuccessful in their games against the FL teams.

I think Louisville will win it and Alliance will be a close second. they have more than just pitching and they now have a coach that knows the game.

Kasson, Yes, I believe those are the girls that Notacsfan23 is referring to as not playing softball in 2 years.
i am glad to see greene and robinson back out on the fiel. robinson could hit and greene was a good little player. i'm sure they might be rusty but with practice, i'm sure they'll be fine. also hear kati schneider is playing.
