The Elder forum has been uncharacteristically quiet this week. Hopefully Trey didn't finally succeed in killing it.

With all of our players now available, no excuses no more BS for today posters. This the game they all worked their butts off for year long. Tickets appear to be selling fast for the game which is great for some home cook'in. Today is about the DL and the OL guys which rarely get the rave/reviews/publicity that they deserve. If they do their jobs the other guys around them will have success.

First punt was poor and protection was bad, but one of the next punts was perfect and downed by Elder inside the 6 yard line.

Shaq actually did very good after the contended 1st punt. Not bad for his first time out there doing it.

No, I think a lot of fans don’t really know what to expect from Moeller, so it’s more quiet.

The more time Elder controls the clock, the better their odds. Marshall will hit at least one long TD run. However, if E can limit Moe possessions, he becomes less of a factor.

Not much to talk about, if the Panthers can stop Marshall they win. If they can't they'll lose. There's really not a ton of analysis needed, it really breaks down just like that that.

And stop is really not even the right word because as Coach Ramsey said on the WCPO Podcast, you don't stop a player like Marshall, you just need to limit the big plays from him.

This game is early but so far I've seen Moeller be offside on 2 kickoffs and get away with a pass interference that lead to an interception and a Moeller TD.

On the first drive the Elder wide reviewer was pushed from behind right before the ball was intercepted.... that one is on the refs.

That being said, the Panthers have no solution for the Moeller running game. Elders defenders are dropping like flies trying to make trackles.

I understand E doesn’t have many options, but playing PN and Eds didn’t make them a better team.

Again, they don’t have the athletes to be serious competitions. Until something changes, this will be the result in games vs state title level teams
