IF NIL money comes to Ohio HS sports, how would you regulate it?

If I loan a kid money on the prospect of being repaid, how he earns the money to make that repayment is immaterial. If there is no agreement stating the specific collateral (e.g. future athletic earnings), it's just a run-of-the-mill loan
Who said you couldn't do that?

What law prevents it?
Criminal legality and NCAA or OHSAA legality are different subject matter. Any kid good enough could do like LameLo Ball and play where he can make money, hire an agent, skip college, go pro. You just can't do that and play for your HS.

There is no such thing as OHSAA legality. The policies or bylaws of a private organization do not supersede established law if the two are in conflict.

BTW, if Boras violated an OHSAA bylaw, his career would not be at risk.

You would be great at calling Games. We have fouls by both teams. Impermissible use of hands by the defense, Impermissible forward pass on the offense. Officers please remain on the sideline as the players did nothing illegal and do not need to be arrested at this time.

My thoughts are that I would not coach NIL players and I would not attend a game involving NIL players. That's all I can do.
