It is known that one McKinley player cleared out his locker after the Massillon game, he was so frustrated with not being able to get into the game. Hall had a lot of play makers standing on the sideline at the game. It has been extremely noticeable.

I don't buy that at all. I watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers line up under center at least half their play with Mayfield at qback. If Hoban lines up under center last year on the state championship game that ending would've turned out differently IMO.

I was going to mention that I didn't see much of the running back from Glenoak Saturday, other than being on the kick return team. Did the pups use many 2 back sets this season?

All I know is that Hall is purposefully not allowing the offense to move forward. Very noticeable. Stephon Thomas and Jamar Johnson have been set to the side.

The wheels were WOBBLY and now they are falling off,I hate quitters but I can see why in this player's situation...BAM!

My take on " THE Game" if Hall losses, everybody and their brother chastise him for not doing this or that. If he won the same people endlessly whine about what he should have done better. Way to many fans are not willing to let him grow into this position as a dominant mckinley team to be feared on the Ohio gridiro n. I Say shut your traps and let this "proud successful Bulldog " do his thing. There's not another candidate out there that bleeds red and love's this community and has the credentials to make mckinley a state competitor year in and year out. A majority of top talent are spoiled brats that need an understanding mentor (a father figure,so to speak) that's been there. Hall is just that. He will continue to populate the roster with former canton greats. That's how you perpetuate a culture. Moore has done just that in Massillon. My opinion,, Massillon had more discipline mckinley had more talent. That variable can change from play to play
This was a battle, hard fought to the end. And either team could of got the dub. The coaches embody their team's, their community, their city's as a whole. That's both Hall and Moore. Two very classy men that direct these programs with integrity and pride too the best of their ability. I have the utmost respect for Mr. Hall as I'm sure the trufans of football do for coach Moore. I Look for a deep playoff run for canton aswell as Massillon, because this is how we do things in the cradle of football. Goodluck to all teams and to us rabid lovers of the purest form of competion, high school football!
 
Coach Hall is not the problem. Maybe he needs to shake up his staff a little but that happens every yr at most hs football programs. Mck today is as follow s: Good team most yrs, 8-2,7-3,6-4 type team . Will lose 1 fed game in most yrs and either tie or win fed outright . Win 1-2 play off weeks and then bow out at like 10-2 or 9-3 ish type record . Lets quit living in the golden age of Mck football. That era was different. the talent in Stark county spreads out far and wider than it used to. Plus,the back and forth players hopping between GlenOak and Mckinley obviussly hasnt helped either program.

Its not like there are a bunch of great assistant coaches in the area --- Give me some names you want Coach Hall to add to his staff since you are calling them out like that
 
Your posts are rather odd.
There have been numerous comments over the past several months, if not recent years, regarding the McKinley coaching staff, in general. Many have posted that McKinley's coaching staff does not measure up to the level of other coaching staffs in the area. I have never, beyond HC Hall, called out individual names of assistants, nor will I. That is not the purpose of this chat thread. So, what qualifies you to assess that "its not like there are a bunch of great assistant coaches in the area." Also, who says they have to be from THIS area? After all, Hall brought in a new OC from Texas.
To another of your previous posts, you stated that teams which go 0-10 or 1-9 have better fan turnout that McKinley. Who are those schools/teams? Granted the years of McKinley home game attendance of 10,000-12,000 at Fawcett Stadium are probably over. Nevertheless, I personally attended two home games this past regular season and the crowds were in the 3,500 to 4,000 range. Not huge crowds, I admit. But again, I ask you the question, name the schools/teams that have 0-10 and 1-9 records who consistently outdraw the attendance at McKinley home games?

my posts are odd????lol .. You must be a demorat. that 3500-4000 at Mck games is made up mostly of the visiting teams fans lol..im done with trying to converse with u.No offense , but if you cant state truths,there is no point...And GlenOak gets more home fans at their games than Mck does . and they just went 1-9 ... A Bad Hoover team that will go 2-8 in a given yr still fillls its home side . Mck has very little student attendance other than Mck game ...and other than some parents and cousins and grandparents Mck gets no one at their games other than some 90+ yr old old guard long time fans who havent checked out yet .

Parma Normandy Invaders RAYMO... Remember back in 1981 ? Thats who the Pups defeated in first round of the playoffs on their way to taking down Darth Vader ( Moeller) and being crowned the Champs!!! Maybe a good omen???? We shall see

Look, like I have posted numerous times, I used to think that Hall was the right guy for the job, but now, I am not so sure about that.
You stated that you thought McKinley had more overall talent that Massillon did last Saturday. You may be right. But, they still lost. They have lost 9 in a row, and something like 23 out of the last 30.
At some point, Hall has to start improving the program to justify keeping the job, doesn't he?

Serious question for pups fans, will the pups have more talent next year than they have this year? Is there another McClellan coming? Is there another Quincy coming? Another Hill? Another Mcneal?

Perhaps the more important question is, "If there is top-tier talent coming up, where will they play?". Because when families take stock of their options, they might not see McKinley as the choice to be made.

Very valid point. It is quite possible that some of the younger players look for greener pastures at some point in time.
