Look, like I have posted numerous times, I used to think that Hall was the right guy for the job, but now, I am not so sure about that.
You stated that you thought McKinley had more overall talent that Massillon did last Saturday. You may be right. But, they still lost. They have lost 9 in a row, and something like 23 out of the last 30.
At some point, Hall has to start improving the program to justify keeping the job, doesn't he?

Serious question for pups fans, will the pups have more talent next year than they have this year? Is there another McClellan coming? Is there another Quincy coming? Another Hill? Another Mcneal?

My post was more in response to Pup Pounders post. But anyone can weigh in. I think 4 years is plenty of time to show some serious improvement in your program.

Believe me, I thoroughly enjoy Massillon beating McKinley, but I would like to see the rivalry get back to, or at least closer to, what it used to be.
 
Pretty decent 1st half for McKinley. A good mixture of running the ball and passing. Johnson over 100 yards rushing and Nino close to 50. Kam having a nice night passing. The only down side 89 yards in penalties.
 
49 - 7 final. Running clock. I know Nordonia was the 12 seed but other then the continuing issue with penalties this looked to be the best all around game McKinley has played this year

I fully understand and respect your opinion of Mr.Hall. Would we even be having this conversation if Hall had won the last 4 Mass/Mck games? Or even 2 ?
We know how important winning "The game" is, and I get it, if he were at Massillon we probably would be calling for his head. Hall may have not had any head coaching experience but he has had plenty of exposure to the game as a successful player and assistant at every level. Without going into the demographics and decline of big city Ohio powers such as Warren, Akron, Cincinnati and Columbus city schools, I'll just say it takes a very special member of the community to pull everything together. In my opinion coach will do that given time. I think he’s just now seeing the fruits of his efforts. I think the dogs will have a great post season run. I know he has a great love for Canton and is doing everything in his power to bring Mckinley back to prominence. Your comments on Hall are appreciated and respected. To reiterate, he is a very much a gentleman and cares deeply about the city of Canton and the Canton McKinley football program. Nevertheless, the amazing level of talent that he and his coaching staff have squandered this season is truly disappointing. His offensive game plan against Massillon alone was terrible. Then some people remark that he opened up the offense in the playoff game against Parma Normandy. What is that supposed to signify? McKinley's JV team could have beaten Normandy! He's McKinley's resemblance of Penn State's head coach, James Franklin....cannot and does not win the big games!
 
McKinley gets a rematch against Jackson in the play-offs this Friday night in Jackson.

And that should show EVERYONE that he chose to hold back the offense in games; especially the Massillon game. So it makes me wonder why? How does it benefit him and the whole team to pretty much mentally and emotionally abuse players by not allowing them to use their given abilities.

McKinley better get rid of him at the end of the season. He’s leaving a bitter taste in peoples mouths; especially the players and parents

who they going to get any better than him in todays stark county coaching landscape??? Maybe he plays the best players that actually work hard in practice and arent a headache constantly???? maybe he rewards things that are EARNED not given.... And lets be honest here , Tom McChicken is not coming back...Josh McChicken is not coming back as a favor...Tyrell would have to be mentally irregular to leave HOBAN .... So , who does that leave ??? Nate Moore is prob the best coach in Stark County...his wifey would never let him jump ship .You Mck fans should be thank ful that Coach Hall ,as the AD, stepped up to coach . Hall is the coach of this football team for this week, next week and how many more games the Bulldogs have this season.I see nothing good about wanting him gone till the season is over and maybe he'll be at McK for years to come.Lets enjoy the Jackson game, these kids have it tough enough and don't need outside BS...BAM!

The McKinley vs Jackson game will be televised by "SPECTRUM NEWS 1" ON FRIDAY AT 7:00 PM. In the Cleveland area, I get this station as part of my COX COMMUNICATION Cable package.

Oh come on O Crew... You see accusing me of making disparaging remarks is why Kammy and her Karens and cry room people got smoked on Tuesday... All I stated was that the Mck fan base is alot older than most and the older fans( like my father who passed away in 2017) are passing away. And there is not a whole lot of Mck fans coming up behind the older generation..Nothing disparaging ,just facts . Now go watch The View so you feel better

There is a letter to the Editor in the Repository from a 1998 Mckinley Alum saying that Hall should be fired. I didn’t realize he only had 1 year of assistant coaching experience. Is that true?

i saw that and was appauled that the Canton Suppository printed that .As far as Halls assistant coaching resume ,I do know he was an assistant at St Thomas . I thought it was a couple of yrs,but not 100%. So, I really do not know the answer for sure . BUT- even it was only one yr , he played high level college football, played pro football and has forgotten more football than most of us know . A Hall is a great leader and thats 75% of coaching HS football .Kids look up to him and respect him . That plays big at Can Mck . This isnt rocket science. You hire a good man.you keep a good man at coach .

From what I hear the kids do not like him or respect him. I don’t know what players you talk to. It would be nice if it were true.
