Maybe you're new here, but the "Well it's doesn't matter if [insert your team] gets running clocked by Massillon, HOBAN will beat you" argument is really old and not very convincing.Nope Im Mr Diamond . Your just the velvet that worships the Diamond . I was Stark County football inthe 60s/70s Your just another Massillon homer who knows Massillon cant win state championships without recruiting outside of your district .. SWO never respected Massillon ..NWO either .They laugh at the Massillon fans and lack of teeth etc...Now i dont bc i know Stark County . I respect strippers first ladys and etc... good football is good football and Massillon should probably get to final four but then Hoban will trounce them this yr ..Massillon yr maybe in 2 more yrs for another title

Thank you ,yes I am new. I will not state the obvious anymore . Ive seen both teams and Massillon is 10-14 points behind Hoban right now ,but long way to go until they meet again so that could change . TCC is better than both of them .Ive been to all of their games . Massillon will get final four medals though. Another darn good yrMaybe you're new here, but the "Well it's doesn't matter if [insert your team] gets running clocked by Massillon, HOBAN will beat you" argument is really old and not very convincing.
If you expect Massillon to play Hoban they will make it past the final four. Them teams won't play till the championship. I seen TCC too vs Iggy and they sure didn't impress me barely beating a one win team. I have also watched Hoban and Massillon and Hoban are about even. Hoban does not have a very consistent or high powered offense. Their defense is good but nothing like last year's Hoban defense.Thank you ,yes I am new. I will not state the obvious anymore . TCC isnt even D2 anymore so no worries there anyway ,my bad.. The word down in SWO is Cin Anderson is real deal...remiscent of the great LaSalle teams .... Soooooooooooooooooooooooo, they may maych up Hoban -Massillllong in the semis .but you may be wright i may be wrong but it just may be a matter of time ...is there shuttles from downtownmassillon to PBTS this saturday? If you expect Massillon to play Hoban they will make it past the final four. Yes shuttle's will be for the Mck game and at the Rec center and in the plaza Target is in. I heard Anderson is good as well , but they also had the same rep last year till they ran into a buzzsaw. Not saying Massillon is as good as last year just saying. No I don't think they will match Massillon and Hoban up until the title game. Hoban and Massillon met in the semis in 2022 but that was before TCC moved to D3. I imagine they keep it region 7 vs the Cincinnati area region for the semi's, but who knows it's the OHSAA.TCC isnt even D2 anymore so no worries there anyway ,my bad.. I have a weird feeling about tomorrow's game but it could just be gas. We'll see.Haven’t you heard of the famous Paul Brown saying “Say nothing when you win, say even less when you lose”? McKinley fans are acutely aware of the smack down awaiting them. I just hope it’s Antonio Halls last game coaching a McKinley Massillon game
Is Chip Chipperson back for the polar bears ? he missed the first mck game for undisclosed reasons .Way to play football against Massillon! Total yards Massillon 203 McKinley 192. The game was alot closer than the score.
McKinley gets a rematch against Jackson in the 2nd round of the play-offs!
Mck going to shock the world and bring home a D1 titleWay to play football against Massillon! Total yards Massillon 203 McKinley 192. The game was alot closer than the score.

SHOCK THE WORLD
that wouldnt be shocking .Jackson is going to shock the world with another win against McKinley.
McKinley possibly has the most talented team in Region 1. However they also have the worst execution and discipline in the region. If they can play better they could possibly top Jackson, but certainly no way will they get past undefeated Mentor or St Ed’s.McKinley fans, I have been on record as saying I believe Hall was the right man for your head football coach, but that he got the job several years late, and that that job should NEVER be anyone's first head coaching job.
Having said that, I am now rethinking my stance. After watching the game Saturday, I am not so sure. I saw a lot of talent on the field for the Bulldogs, but I didn't see a great football team. I don't know why, and I certainly can't explain it, but that is my opinion. Loads of talent, but not a cohesive unit.
Neither Massillon or McKinley played a clean game, but I would say that overall, the dogs played a stronger overall game. That game was there for the pups to win, but as a Massillon fan, I never really felt threatened by the Bulldog offense.
Not sure exactly what the answer is for the pups, but they need to figure it out before it is too late.

This is actually a really good take. At the beginning of the season I actually had the nerve to think McKinley might have the best backfield in the county. A quarterback moved in which I heard was a pretty decent thrower and probably a good runner. An all Ohio running back crossed the demarcation line to come from GlenOak to McKinley and one returning starter that was pretty decent when he wanted to and what I thought was a very promising sophomore running back from last years freshmen class. My thinking was any coach with half a brain would use both in the back field at the same time. You know heaven forbid you run an offense that has the quarterback under center and a fullback and a tailback behind him and run power football like football was for what 120 years? IMO McKinley has been one notch above average since the "shot gun" became the norm but what do I know I'm old. My last thought on this game is you would've thought that McKinley would've pulled out all the stops and throw the kitchen sink at Massillon and maybe the McKinley coach thinks he actually did but instead like the poster said he never felt threatened by the Bulldog offense. Just can't figure it out but it sure feels like a wasted season so far with again like he said some really good talent.McKinley fans, I have been on record as saying I believe Hall was the right man for your head football coach, but that he got the job several years late, and that that job should NEVER be anyone's first head coaching job.

I've said for years they should put the qb under center and play smash mouth football like we are use to especially on 3rd and 4th and 1 with a 6'4 or 6'5 qb, why on earth are you in the shotgun because now you've got to go 5 plus yards instead of just 1, even inside the 10 why are we in the spread you cant spread out much you only need 10 or less yards to go, makes no sense at all but what do we know right? This is actually a really good take. It appears as if Hall is actually “Trying” to lose games. He is purposefully holding McKinley offense back. Whoever doesn’t see it is blind.I've said for years they should put the qb under center and play smash mouth football like we are use to especially on 3rd and 4th and 1 with a 6'4 or 6'5 qb, why on earth are you in the shotgun because now you've got to go 5 plus yards instead of just 1, even inside the 10 why are we in the spread you cant spread out much you only need 10 or less yards to go, makes no sense at all but what do we know right?
Mentor's schedule was absolutely horrendous I honestly think McKinley could be mentor hell they almost did it a few years ago I think it was a 2022 I was actually rooting for the dogsAgree with pretty much everything you said, except I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that the Bulldogs compete with Mentor. The gap is closer than it seems. Yes Mentor is 10-0 so you have to give them props, but it wasn't exactly a tough schedule.
If the McKinley team that showed up for Massillon and Avon comes to play then they have a real shot at playing for the regional title. They got caught looking ahead and get the chance to prove the Jackson game was a fluke. In order to get it done their offense must play better and stop putting the defense in tough spots.
Playing under center does absolutely nothing I don't understand why every old school football fan thinks running the I formation is the answer. Today's game is too fast to have your offense bottled up like thatI've said for years they should put the qb under center and play smash mouth football like we are use to especially on 3rd and 4th and 1 with a 6'4 or 6'5 qb, why on earth are you in the shotgun because now you've got to go 5 plus yards instead of just 1, even inside the 10 why are we in the spread you cant spread out much you only need 10 or less yards to go, makes no sense at all but what do we know right?
If Hall with McClure were taken out of the picture for the post season, a different McKinley team would come out of the locker room.I've said for years they should put the qb under center and play smash mouth football like we are use to especially on 3rd and 4th and 1 with a 6'4 or 6'5 qb, why on earth are you in the shotgun because now you've got to go 5 plus yards instead of just 1, even inside the 10 why are we in the spread you cant spread out much you only need 10 or less yards to go, makes no sense at all but what do we know right?
