What are you watching?

The Pit.
Mentioned already by The Gris, this is an award winner. So far. It's not one of those 8 ep streamers. A full season so a lot to go yet. Has its failures. If you'd never seen it and you were to line up all the actors getting more than a minute and ask, which one is the baddy. I'd bet we'd get a 90% correct.

Loving the Pitt. I wish it wasn't a weekly show - it would be nice to watch this in multiple episodes, but it's great. Supposedly, very realistic too, according to real ER docs. So strange seeing Noah Wylie as the grizzled, cynical veteran doc instead of the fresh faced intern from the early days of ER.

I just finished Zero Day and Running Point this weekend on Netflix. Both were decent, not great.

Reacher
Saw new season. All this streaming gets me off track how far I was into a series. Went back end of season 2 to see what I remembered. Nada. End of Season 1. Nada. Just decided to restart from scratch and remembered quickly why I liked this. Fun characters. Fun dialogue. Been a fan of Malcom Goodwin since IZombie. Even "Lee Child's" (the writer) bio is a fun read.

I think I need actuallyt start reading the books.

Ghosts (US version). Good, not great episode. Did give some time to less used ghosts and too much to too often used ghosts. Some of those starting to where thin.

The Pitt: Moral of the week (hour) kind of show with apparently the overriding theme: "White man bad" or local yokels. It's an obviously intentional effort to provoke that crowd objecting to "wokeness" and it's distracting from some great storylines. The only respectable white male is also Jewish, so gets a pass. Hell, even the muslim women are depicted as observant yet also crude "b's" in order to look cool and normal. It's becoming an obvious pandering theme to out past practices of TV racial stereotyping.

I spent the more than a few hours watching the Big Ten Wrestling Tournament on both the Big Ten+ and the Big Ten Network . Am I the only person that watched enjoyed and then was very disappointed that the championship award was a belt? It made me feel like someone thought College wrestling was on the same level as the fake pro wrestling. It would be so much better if the award was a plaque, metal, or trophy in my opinion.

The first episode of the new Righteous Gemstones was very unique & interesting. I liked it a lot and that seems to be the consensus but I also get why others may not love it.

Ghosts
The Pitt
Daredevil Born Again
Reacher
The Night Agent (eh)
Cavalcade of America: Anthology of american historical figures and events.

Watched first ep of Severance and decided to save it for a full season binge.
