Week 13 Neutral Sites

Before people on here go whining and crying on why games aren’t at certain location, remember locations have to put on to host games. OHSAA cannot tell a school/location they have to host.
How does that all work? Dos a school bid to host and then OHSAA decide if they are acceptable in terms of adequate parking, seating capacity, stuff like that. Do they get paid a stipend for hosting? Just curious

Edit: looks like it was answered in the thread

Again read the post I responded to from a guy saying this is what makes sense

It doesn't make sense to pick Stow in general let alone giving a 20 minute closer spot to a way lower seed

Now the ohsaa does a ton that takes zero sense as it's a stupidly run organization. So what happens vs what makes sense isn't the same many of times
Went from the wrong address, so you are correct it wouldn’t make sense, so somewhere north of Kent would be ideal.

I missed where he said ‘makes sense to MentorGrad2002’. The seeds makes zero difference in site selection, nor should they.

A lot of irony here. But you and the Glenville guy are of the same ilk. Low IQ trolls . I'm glad to not associate with you. You guys bring me up. Id just as soon never deal with both of you again . Feel free to move on from me if you can
I actually dislike you so I have no need to constantly bring you up you just posted some weird s*** that's the only reason why I tagged you 😂

How do you know it won’t be a big crowd? Only big crowds come out for Massillon, you expecting a big crowd in that huge R7 semi? Mentor and McK will be a heck of a game, Bulldogs in a close one.
Mentor Mck should be a good game too bad and kinda sad that Massillon and lil ol Teays Valley will prolly have more people attending. Majority Mck fans will be at home B#tching to fire Coach Hall instead of supporting their puppies.

Whatever you say man. I don't care enough about you to dislike you. I just think you are stupid

Put me on ignore then and move on like an adult. There's way too many people in the world to obsess with those you don't like. I don't care about you. Just get the f out already

Dude is crying about a site that someone just threw out there bring a few mins closer to McK. Man grow up! I hope McK can pull it out. Dude is a clown, I only hate yall Massillon folks 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not crying at all. Just saying why it makes no sense....

You jumped in with your usual low IQ troll job and I just didn't take it. You can move on like the Massillon fool as well. You never add anything anyways and nobody cares about your prediction involving two teams you haven't even seen play.

I get you. It’s a moot point, the game won’t be at Stow. But a commute 20 min less isn’t outrageous. Good luck to your squad, as a fellow public school football parent, I love to see fellow publics playing in week 13. My take, it’s going to be a high scoring game similar to McK-Jackson.

I'll just plug in advance, for whoever ends up at Zanesville...

Plan to get there with time to spare, e.g. 6:30pm. Considerable amount of construction on 70 inside the city of Zanesville; the work zone from what I recall spans a good distance on from one end of the city to the other. Safe travels, arrive alive and without a ticket in the process.

Yeah but most teams don't travel like Massillon especially late into playoffs. Most venues are too small to accommodate our fans and Mansfield is perfect
Just out of curiosity, on average how far have the Massillon faithful had to travel to follow their team ? That would be an interesting comparison for all playoff teams. Obviously top eight seeds will have noticeable advantage for the first two weeks.

I can see where a twenty minute difference in location choices may seem unfair when a team, and fans, are accustomed to playing a majority of their games at home.

Totally spit-balling here. My batting average on this is more likely in the "laughable" range, but here goes on select games:

Mentor-McK: Byers (pretty confident here)
Ed's-Perrysburg: Sandusky
Moeller-Princeton: Mason (I'm confident in this one)
Walsh-Fitch: Ravenna
Hoban-Nordonia: Hudson (pretty confident here)
Avon-Wadsworth: Strongsville
Highland-Anthony Wayne: Perkins (Maybe not, bc Perkins is still playing?)
Massillon-Teays Valley: Arlin (this is a definite)
CVCA-Gilmour: Solon
Benedictine-Padua: Maple Heights
Dover-Steubenville: WHEELING ISLAND!!! (j/k; but Dover did play St. Clairsville at Wheeling Island in a playoff game in 1989... for real)
London-SMM: Bellefontaine
Perry-Streetsboro: Berkshire
Lake Catholic-Glenville: Euclid
Ansonia-Marion Local: Sidney
Nobody wants to go Euclid, it's not safe...last week mlc vs field was supposed to be there...both teams said no
