Week 13 Neutral Sites

I agree with hosting smaller school games. Once we get everything completely fixed up. We shouldn't be hosting any until it's totally renovated.
FWIW, I like Greenville’s stadium. Is it the best? No. However, I like the closeness, the endzone to endzone bleachers. It reminds me of Celina’s field. The only thing I didn’t/don’t like about it is the small pressbox. However, with the renovations planned, it’ll be a great spot for the area. Sure Sidney, Piqua, and Troy (now with turf) are great, but having Greenville be a solid venue won’t hurt anyone.

Like i said, there’s nothing inherently wrong with it. But if it can’t handle MAC games, it can’t handle a Wapak game either. Just annoying to consistently have to play somewhere like a Greenville while Marion and Ansonia play at piqua and not even fill it half way.

That is positively ridiculous. I can’t wait for Wapak vs Bellbrook to be at Tipp, what an optimal place to play a game.
I get your frustration, but it is what it is. Celina played a regional final game at trotwood. You know what time I got there, 5:00 pm. Celina was the visitors plus we had some on the home side. Not worth getting overly worked up, OHSAA will do what they want to do.

Same thing happened with St. Marys vs Clearfork a few years ago. They played at Bellefontaine. St. Marys was away. They got part of the home stands too

Just ludicrous to force the higher seed into traveling further
the OHSAA doesn’t care about travel based on seed.

ex. Bellbrook could travel 5 miles and Wapak could travel 70. but the OHSAA would take that over both schools traveling 40 miles because 75 is less than 80.

How in the world is this even a matchup? CCP lost to Woodmore (the 6th place team in the SBC River) of all teams. Has Loramie slipped that much? This also cost OHSAA a much bigger gate as CCP will bring about 15 people. This game will get ugly quick.
i have not heard how the game with loramie and CCP went? i was surprised by that also

is there a game at TRoy?

Sidney and Piqua will both be 1/3 full (if that) both hosting D7 games… make it make sense

Just so funny to me. The OHSAA playoff scheduling and planning committee must sit in a dark room and throw darts. Except instead of a map they throw them at each other as a statement of their mental acuity, or lack thereof
Terrific Comment. !!! 16 teams ............. each region for playoffs ............. PLEASE !!!!.....................I know Thats A broken Record ........ BUT !
