Here is the 3200 meter run. Updates, corrections?

3200 Meter Run FAT
1. 8:54.90 2000 Steve Padgett La Salle Golden West 3rd
2. 9:03.25 1994 Doug Bockenstette La Salle Midwest MOC 1st
3. 9:04.46 1995 Dean Fulmer La Salle NSOC 6th
4. 9:05.33 2002 Allen Bader La Salle Roosevelt 3rd
5. 9:11.88 1970 Dennis Lunne St. Xavier
6. 9:12.54 1999 Brian Godsey Lakota East Regional 2nd
7. 9:16.74 1987 John Sence Milford State 2nd
8. 9:18.55 1992 Ryan Mullen Elder State 4th
9. 9:19.03 1997 Earnie Ziegler Harrison State 1st
10. 9:19.12 2003 Eric Mayhaus La Salle State 3rd

I can't believe La Salle has five of the top ten on this list. Wow!!!
I'm relatively sure Dave Stanton of Princeton ran a 9:18.x in 1973 for two miles, but I'm having difficulty remembering the meet - Miami Relays, perhaps? Oh, and, by the way, it's Denis Lunne.

Without starting a whole new conversation on the topic...can someone tell me what See's final pr was in the mile? I didn't hear about how the state meet went, so I just wanted to check out how he ended the year.

Dave Stanton got second at the Regional in 1973 with a 9:18.6. That converts to a 1600 FAT of 9:15.39. He goes on the list.

What meet did Lunne run the 9:15.0 for two miles? Was it the Miami Relays? What was his place.
Denis won the Miami Relays in 1970 in a record time of 9:15.1 (breaking Reg McAfee's 9:22.7 set the prior year).

Reggie McAfee (Courter Tech) won the two mile at the Ohio Classic Track Meet (a statewide, all-star type meet) in 1969 with a 9:14.7.

4:04.83

I seemed to remember it was the Miami Relays, but the Enquirer Honor Roll has him at 9:15.0 for that year.

The article in the Enquirer the day after the meet had the correct time.

Are you sure it wasn't the Midwest Meet of Champions. I seem to remember seeing in the Enquirer that he ran the two miles at that meet. Maybe it was the Ohio Track Classic meet.

I have changed the time to 9:11.98 to reflect a two mile time of 9:15.1. I have also changed his name to Denis taking out the second "n".

McAfee time converts to 9:11.58. He goes on the list ahead of Lunne.

It's on Jesse Squires website. He has posted a bunch of Craig Whitmore's statistics.

What's the web site address? I was on it before but didn't bookmark it? A sad note is that Craig Whitmore told me tonight he is dying of colon cancer.

Your 800 looks good. 3200 also looking pretty good. Man, Beuerlein finishes just off that list with 9:18.04. FAT conversion on Sharp's 800 time leaves him in 11th all-time. I have one question. Is the NSOC what has become the Nike outdoor nationals?

If Beuerlein ran 9:18.04 FAT, he should be on it. I have Ryan Mullen of Elder at 10th in 9:18.55. Where did Beuerlein run that time?

Oh i thought with the added people he got knocked off. He ran that at Jesse Owens this year. I believe those results were on deltatiming.com but i dont remember if that was the site for roosevelt or JO.

Come on moemanxc, you're on the Committee to pick the top ten. I put Beuerlein at # 10. The list is at the bottom of page one. I've asked skins99 to start stickying the lists. We now have three events. Beuerlein was second at Jesse Owens. I found the results on OSU's track and field web site.

Nice list, moemanxc. Good work. I would like to see the meet and the place where those guys did those marks. Jack Andreadis of Anderson won the state in 1994 with a 15'0". Adam Klotzbach of Fairfield was second to Walter at state in 1999 with a 15'0" vault. You need to edit your list and put these guys tied for eighth.

Jake Andreadis did go 15'3" to win the Regional in 1995. At the time it was a city record.

skins99, I can't find the 49.00 for Kapprel. He ran 49.0 at the Anderson district meet in 1994 to win it, but that was hand held, wasn't it? The best time listed for him in Kurt Francis's 1995 Track and Field News is a 49.1 hand held. Where did he run the 49.00 FAT?

lol, all i know is that is the school record, i thought he ran that time at regionals 95 or 96. if it was the anderson invite then it depends on the year for fat timing, i think some years they had automatic timing equipment and other years they did not.

you have the track and field news lieing around or is that years online?
