Tim tebow

That well bottom QB has more playoff wins than Andy Dalton.

All that victory did was put Denver behind 5 teams with better records in the NFL draft. Denver would have picked 21st[instead of behind 9-7 Tenn, 9-7Cincy, Clev through10-6 Atla, 10-6 Detroit, 12-4 Pittsburgh]; now 8-8 Denver picks 25th.

So? They knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs.

Despite the fact that Sanchez has played many more years and in many more playoff games. Yeah, you really proved your point on that one, Doctor.

"Many" more years? 1 = many?

Tebow has played in twice as many years and twice as many playoff games as Dalton, so you shouldn't have compared the 2 using your logic.

Ok, I should've said "games" instead of "years." That doesn't make you right though. Tebow has played in 23 games, but not all of those were starts. Dalton has played in, and started in 16 games. Sanchez? 47 games.

So they got a win over a beat up Steelers team, that's saying alot

The Broncos could have gone deeper in the playoffs had they had a good QB that can actually throw good passes consistently.

Nobody but losers care about your excuses. A beat up Steelers team, lol. As if to say injuries aren't common in the NFL. Man up and give him the credit he's due. Denver got knocked off by the team that ended up representing the AFC in the Super Bowl. Your excuses and flawed logic are whack!

Fixed that for ya ^ and why exactly was that? did you watch those games? also remember the Steelers "knocked off" the team that ended up representing the AFC in the Super Bowl when they were healthy.

Had Pittsburgh played New England when Denver did, the result would've been the same. Remember, Denver wasn't even supposed to be there. Tebow rallied the troops and took them all the way to the 2nd round. While you point and laugh, it only shows how ignorant you are.

The definition of greatness in the NFL .
"...all the way to the second round..."

So if Tom Brady is playing in a walking boot, and Welker is out due to an injury, does Denver get the win over the Pats? Um NO. Guess you were right about injuries to key players, they don't matter.

New England's win in the regular season over Denver was a snow ball effect caused by turnovers. The muffed punt was the nail in the coffin and the game was over right then and there. Up until then, it was anyone's game. Remember, Denver led throughout the first half in that game. The playoff loss to the Pats was an impressive win for New England. It looked like New England's defense finally showed up for the first time all year. I don't know what you're getting at with hypothetical injuries. After all, didn't Denver beat the team that beat New England earlier this season, in the playoffs?

With Ben hobbled, and medicated, and Mendenhall out with an injury, yes Denver did get the win.

Denver got to the playoffs and past Pittsburgh with team success. They had a good D, a good O line, McGahee running the ball well, a clutch kicker, and Tebow making plays at times. They were successful, but it wasn't all Tebow as you and many others make it out to be.

Personally, I felt Redmond gave Pittsburgh a better running game. I was very unimpressed with Mendenhall this past season. Yes, Roethlisberger was hobbled, but he has himself to blame for that. Instead of sitting out a couple weeks, he chose to play. That's on him. And while I agree with your overall assessment of Denver, I have to disagree with that aspect looking at the defense. That defense showed signs of brilliance when they were making their run in the regular season, but fell apart at the end of the season. I'll be the first to agree with you that it wasn't all Tebow, but you have to acknowledge the turn around that began when he took over. He was a big part of it.

The Steelers poor Oline play really hurt their running game.

Sure he was, and like I said it was the entire teams success.

The organization felt they needed to go a new direction at the QB position, Tebow took over, and Elway made the statement early on that they would do whatever it takes to make Tebow successful. Now all they need to do is further develop him, and add talent. Nice to have a GM like that, and it will make a difference.

You could also say Pittsburgh's commitment to the pass further hindered Mendenhall as well, but nonetheless, he had a poor season.

I expect Tebow to develop and get better. However, I won't be surprised if there isn't progress in the win/loss category. They're going to play a brutal schedule next season.

If Elway holds true to his commitment, they should do well. There is really no such thing as an easy schedule in the NFL.

While that cliche may hold some truth, there are schedules that are harder than others. Would you have rather have had your team play the NFC West this past season, or the NFC North (pre Cutler injury of course)?

My team played the NFC West and got one win, if they had played the North they probably would have gotten one win.

I shouldn't have stated there is no such thing as an easy schedule, but most aren't as easy as predicted prior to the beginning of the season.
