Tim tebow

Looking forward to watching him get smacked next week. However, I'm glad for him this week.

I don't think the NE defense is smacking anybody this year. However Denver may have a little trouble keeping up in the scoring department with the NE offense.

We all love sports, and thats why most of us are on here. We go back and forth with one another like a bunch of 5 year olds talking about how "My dad could beat up your dad"... ETC... With that said I have never wanted someone (an athlete) to suceed as much as I want Tim Tebow to succeed. He is a very special player, and I am 100% a fan of his..

People will continue to talk negative about the young man as they have... I for one enjoy rooting for someone who is succesful than hoping for someone to fail... TEBOW!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I really want him to do well. I just do not think he has the mechanics to be a sustainable productive QB.

Did you see the first NE-DEN game? New England smacked them, hardcore and in Denver.

Nope. When was that game? NE ended the year with one of the worst defenses in the league.

That game was earlier in December. New England has the 31st ranked defense in the league. Green Bay has the 32nd, yet nobody talks about that. The Pats have an awful defense and it will cost them in the postseason, but I'd be shocked if it happened next weekend.

well then maybe I should have posted the NE defense isn't smacking, other than Denver when they played, anybody this season but Denver may have trouble keeping up with the NE offense.

:welcome:
I understand where you are coming from. I agree with you in that aspect. What you dont understand though is that this 2nd year player has more unnessecary pressure than any other player I can think of in the past 15 years, and he still wins.. He finds a way.

A "productive qb"??? I think the whole "Tebow" debate is in what we define as "productive".. Wins??? Or Leadership?? or stats???

BTW... 10 completions for 316 and 2 TDs... 1 Rushing for good measure.

P.S.. Tebow fans need to see his recievers are growing as well and deserve their credit too.

I agree he success defines all logic. However, to me it is kind of like "Fernandomania," kind of scenario.

I would say he is doing well..

I don't know what to expect next week. New England is home and is better than Denver IMO, but the Pats have been bad in the postseason ever since their loss in the 2008 Super Bowl. Outside of Brady, Gronk and Welker, nobody on the offense is scary. And literally nobody on the defense is scary. Maybe Vince Wilfork, but that's simply because he could eat you without breaking a sweat.

He certainly doesn't throw the ball technically like a QB is said to need to, however his running ability causes other teams to play safeties close to the line of scrimmage producing sets where no safeties are deep. Babe Ruth didn't technically have a classic batting stance or swing but he sure hit a few HRs. 10 completions for +300 yards tonight. Tebow hit a few HRs tonight.
