Even though the season is in full swing I have decided to start a thread for all those Cyclone fans out there who want to see how the team is doing and if there are any fun promotions or giveaways that they might be doing...

Tonight they take on the Wheeling Nailers at 730pm. Wheeling is in first place in the American North division with a record of 22-9 49pts. The 'Clones are 4th in the division with a record of 18-15 41pts. This will be a big game for the 'CLones to win if they want to make the playoffs and recapture the Kelly Cup again...

It will be 1$ PBR and Miller High Life night...

Here is a link to there website that will have pretty much everything you need to know about upcoming games, promotions, standings and a list of who's who on the team...

The 'Clones get six, second period goals and defeat Wheeling 10-4. Great win for the 'Clones but they have to get set for the rematch between the teams for this Saturday at Wheeling.

Next home game will be next Friday 1/23 against the Dayton Bombers then the two will meet up the next day...

THe game for Saturday 1/24 the 'CLones will be giving away to the first 3,000 fans Barack Obama bobbleheads. Should be an interesting night....

The 'Clones did it again by knocking off Wheeling for the second straight time, defeating the Nailers 5-4 in overtime thanks to Van Guilders shot...

The 'Clones improve to 20-15 with 45 pts and are only 5 points behind Wheeling...

They are off until next weekend when they have important back to back games against the Dayton Bombers who are 21-16 with 46 pts. Also don't forget that this Friday is Pink in the Rink where they will be wearing pink jerseys to benefit the Patty Brisben Foundation. Saturday they will be giving away Barack Obama bobbleheads with the president-elect wearing a Cyclones jersey. Will be available to the first 3,000 fans....

Go Cyclones!!!

The Cyclones take to the ice tonight against the Dayton Bombers at 730 pm and are back at it tomorrow night same time...

GO CYCLONES!!!

'Clones completed the weekend sweep of the Dayton Bombers, 7-1 Friday night and 2-1 Saturday night thanks to an overtime goal by Sean Kilpatrick with 8.6 seconds left...

Saturday also brought the second largest crowd ever to a Cyclones game at 8,508...

They improve there record to 22-15 with 49 pts, still 5 pts behind Wheeling...

The next home game will be Wednesday against the Elmira Jackets. It will be 1$ PBR and Miller High Life...

Get out and support the Cyclones...

Lets go CYCLONES!!!

Thanks for the thread! I have an 18-game season ticket package and I love going to games. The Clones have really turned it on over the past few weeks. They're only 5 points out of first place after getting out to a very slow start this year. I think the team is starting to gel and and may be a force to be reckoned with again this year. GO CLONES!

I figured that it was time for a Cyclones thread considering they won the Kelley Cup last year and are making another good run to repeat. I try to go to as many games as I can providing work does not get involved...

The 'Clones had there 6 game winning streak snapped in a lost to Elmira 6-4, dropping them to 4th place and a point out of second...

They travle up north to take on the Dayton Bombers for another weekend series then are back home for a home game against the Reading Royals Tuesday night at 730 pm. It will also be Big Beer Tuesday...

They will then take to the road with 6 games, three against the Mississippi Sea Wolves then another 3 versus the Florida Everblades before returning home with a six game homestand...

It will be a crucial stretch on the road but the 'Clones I feel can take 4 of 6...

GO 'CLONES!!!

Cyclones win in OT 3-2 and move into sole possesion of fist place with the game winner coming from Ben Gordon, 42 seconds in the OT...

The 'Clones now go on a six game road trip with 3 against the Mississippi Sea Wolves and 3 agains the Florida Everblades. Mississippi is in last place of the South division with FLorida being in first. Hopefully the Cyclones can come away with above .500 record on this trip...

GO CYCLONES!!!

Cyclones win on the road again 6-2 but in the process lose team captain Barret Ehjoetz to injury for 4 to 6 weeks and rookie Sean Kilpatrick who is on assignment to Houston for the AHL...

Congrats though to Sean, I expect big things from him in the future and look to see him in a NHL uniform soon.

Cyclones are still in first place with a record of 26-16 with 57 points, 1 point ahead of Wheeling...

GO CYCLONES!!!

Cyclones take 2 of 3 from Mississippi in the weekend series winning Friday night 6-2, losing saturday 3-2, then winning on Sunday 6-2...

They take on Florida for a 3 game set beginning Wednesday, Florida is 33-12-1 with 68 pts, which is tops in the league. This will be a tough series but if they can pull out 2 of 3 this will have been a great road trip for the 'Clones...

GO CYCLONES!!!

'Clones get the first game 5-2 but are shutout in the next one 5-0. Hopefully they can win tonight and go 4-2 on this road swing, especially taking 2 of 3 from the team with the best record in the ECHL Florida Everblades...

They are still in first but only up at point, with a record of 27-18-2 with 59 pts...

Cyclones go 3-3 on the road trip, winning the series at Mississippi, but losing the series at Florida. The series was a close one against Florida, who has the best record in the ECHL, they lost the first game 5-0, won the second one 3-2 and lost the last one 3-1...

They have fallen out of first place by 1 pt to the Johnstown Chiefs, but they have a six game home series against Dayton, Elmira and Reading...

There record is 28-19-2 with 61 pts...

Get out there and support your Cyclones....

GO CYCLONES!!!!

Cyclones continue to have there way with Dayton, sweeping the 2-game series, 5-3 Friday night and 2-1 Saturday night...

They are alone in first place now with a record of 30-19-2 with 65 pts...

They take on Reading Tuesday and Wednesday both times at 730 pm...

GO CYCLONES!!!

Cyclones have lost 2 of there last 3 games but still maintain first place in the American North Divison with a record of 31-21-2-3 with 67 PTS. They take on the Elmira Jackals at 730 tonight...

GO CYCLONES!!!

I went to my first Clones game in several years on Friday v/s Elmira. Unfortunately the Jackals won 4-1, but it was still fun to go to the game. I enjoyed the "You Suck!" cheers when the Cyclones score, I thought it was hilarious. There was also a good fight a few minutes into the game. Hopefully we'll go to a few more games this season.

And why did they change their uniforms? The unis looked exactly like the Nashville Predators, which would make sense since they're the NHL affiliate, but everything is still colored red and orange, including their website. Is it just temporary, like do they only wear the Predator uniforms for a few games? I liked their old uniforms way better.

I would also go to way more games if they moved back to the Gardens. It's more friendly and has a better atmosphere. But that will never happen because of HS hockey :dang:

The Cyclones take back 1st place after a 4-3 OT win v.s. Johnstown. The regular season ends tomorrow with another game v.s. Johnstown. Chiefs

They also clinched home ice in the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs, starting on the 9th and 10th of April...

GO CYCLONES!!!

Cyclones kick off the playoffs tomorrow night at 730pm against Wheeling then play again on Friday night also at 730pm. I will be at the game Friday night to support the Cyclones as they repeat as Kelly Cup Champions...

GO CYCLONES!!!

Nailers upset Cincy 4-1. Happy that Wheeling won, but shocked at the same time considering:

1. Wheeling lost their last 2 regular season games (@ home to Dayton 3-2. The Bombers had a losing season. Lost 6-0 on the road to Trenton.)

2. Home game for Cincnnati.

Will definitely be at the game Saturday night down in Wheeling.

Being guaranteed an extra home playoff game is huge to a small-market team like the Nailers.

The cyclones looked horrible last night, they could not handle the puck at all nor would they even go after hit, they were just waiting for it to come to them. I am begining to think that maybe the four days off hurt them a little bit but they need to get there act together if they want to savage this series and advance into the playoffs...

Cyclones 7, Nailers 3

Cincinnati makes it a series on WV soil this evening. Sermon of this season: the Nailers cannot stand prosperity.

Was at the game. Cincinnati looked tight in the pre-game. Nailers looked loose.

IMO the turning point came when Cincinnati score with 18 seconds left in the 1st to even things up 1-1 after one. The Cyclones scored early in the 2nd on a PP G and never looked back. A goal late in 2nd period gave them momentum (again) entering the 3rd.

Cincinnati killed off a 1:58 2 man advantage to start the 3rd period. Props.

Game 4 is slated for Wednesday night in Wheeling. Already got my tix.

Go Nailers!!!!

Nice to finally see the offense, sure could have used it both Thursday and Friday but I will take the win.

Hopefully we can even the series on Wednesday then if they are still on a roll come back to CIncinnati with the lead...

GO CYCLONES!!!

All Square.

Cincinnati d. Wheeling 4-3 on the road this evening. Series now stands 2-2. The Cyclones will get at least one more game in Cincy this season. Difference was the Cyclone's Special Teams (2 PPG, one shortie).

I was encouraged how the Nailers fought back from a 4-1 deficit in the 3rd to make it a game @ the end.

Game 5 Friday. Let's Go Nailer's!!!

Yikes, Wheeling wins Game Six 6-0 and ties the series lead 3-3. I guess you could call it a home "disadvantage" for both teams...

Game 7 on Monday at 7:30
