Well, the matchup that everybody mostly assumed would happen after Philadelphia rolled Washington. I'm not saying if, but when the Chiefs and Mahomes win their 3rd straight is it going to be justifiable to say they are the best franchise? Is Mahomes going to be considered the best QB all time? How awkward will it be for Tom Brady to have to say Mahomes is better than he is? Was really hoping for a Bills-Washington matchup.

A fun prop bet will be who do they show more on TV - Taylor Swift or Bradley Cooper? Might be the best part of this game.

Having said that, if Satan owned an NFC franchise, Hitler was his head coach, and they had Ray Lewis, Aaron Hernandez, Rae Carruth and Aaron Rodgers on the team, I would still root for them to beat KC. Tired of hearing about them.

Jerry Sandusky is the DC for that team.

For everyone (NFL owners) who thinks you need a great QB to go to the SB, last year you had Mr. Irrelevant at QB and this year Jalen Hurts a 2nd pick (a good running QB not a great passer). Even Mahomes and KC without Spagnola would not have near the success that they have had. Mahomes reg. season 26 TD's 11 interceptions not that great but KC defense always makes a play like they did yesterday than Mahomes grabs all the glory.

Well I guess Im in the minority. I am looking forward to this game. The Chiefs might be the 1st 3 peat of the Super Bowl era. Saquon Barkley might be the most entertaining RB since Barry Sanders. I gotta go to google to see which franchises last won 3 in a row. I believe Yankees in the 60s, Edminton w/ the Great One in the 80s and the Celtics in the 60s. I have NO idea without looking it up for football

2 well run organizations. I don't like either team, but I do appreciate greatness and they both know what it takes to succeed unlike 80% of the teams in the NFL. I don't know if the Eagles/KC throw SF and a few other teams in the mix are that well ran or if there are just that many incompetent owners.

Bulls did it not once, but twice in the 90's.

Agreed that Saquon is very entertaining. Phenomenal back.

Yes, Chiefs would be the first 3peat of SuperBowl era.

Cynics will say that the outcome of the game has already been determined by the referees; sorry, Eagles. I did not watch the game and have no interest in the Super Bowl either.

Least interesting Super Bowl since the last time these two teams played in a Super Bowl.

For Eagles to win, need to get Barkley at least 150 yards and control the game.
I was thinking the same thing. Other than Chiefs & Eagles fans who is really interested in this game. These are two teams that are easy to dislike for various reasons.

I'll be watching. I grew reading all kind of sports books. I would read the almanacs that listed the champions year by year for any sports. I was fascinated when I saw what UCLA did under Wooden, and what the Yankees did from 1923-1964, and so on. I like watching Mahomes play (I don't like his antics at times) and it's unreal the run they are on, but I'm ready for the Eagles to knock them off. I'm not looking forward to all the Kelce brothers and Taylor Swift talk.

IIRC, Lakers had a 3-peat in the '00s w/ Shaq and Kobe. Surprisingly, Oilers w/ Gretzky never got 3 in a row but won 5 total. NY Islanders won 4 straight to open the '80s.

I normally applaud successful teams and admire them as well. But this time around there is something not right. There are too many games with the Chiefs where officiating has played a major role in the outcome of the games. In particular with Mahomes. Watching Burrow this past year and the hits he was taking without penalties is a perfect example. There was more than once his face mask was yanked and no call was made. In the final game he had over 600lbs of Pittsburgh DL drive him into the turf and no penalty.

Then you have the non 1st down call late in last Sunday's game. On 3rd down it can be argued the refs stole the first down there when they moved the ball back more than a yard from where the receiver stretched. Then Allen crossed the line but they move the ball back there as well. And lastly what was with the FLAG on the last desperation pass by Allen? There was a flag thrown on that play but then picked up, no call.

Not much one can do but throughout the Chiefs little run here the bad officiating has been always in their favor. Did you see the stat floating around that in the last 11 playoff games the Chiefs opponents had more penalty yards than the Chiefs in every one. The total penalties were 66 for the opponents and only 36 called against the Chiefs.

Oh yeah, forgot about the Lakers. I knew the Oilers won 5 but I thought some were strung together
Back to the NFL, Green Bay won the last NFL 'Ship prior to the Super Bowl, so they would be the last NFL 3Peat sine the won SB I & II
