Yes, but I think everyone is still looking for the offensive genius. Spags likely returns.Somebody needs to hire Spagnuolo as a HC, so Chiefs don't win 3 in a row.
Definitely would change the dynamics. Made xp and KC goes for the TD on 4th instead of kicking FG. Win or lose on that TD attempt.Kicker makes an xp very well likely a different outcome.
Agreed. Seemed like the 49ers were playing not to lose. KC was playing to win.Bottom line is, you don’t give Brady, Montana, Mahomey any breathing room and the Niners gave the Chefs multiple chances until Mahomey finally pulled it out
But KC didn't look like they were playing to win in the first half though. Things did change in the 2nd half though. They didn't light it up, but did enough in the clutch to win itAgreed. Seemed like the 49ers were playing not to lose. KC was playing to win.
Taylor Swift isn’t dating George Kittle. How were there zero holding calls against the chiefs?
But Mahomes is the best QB in the game ... He is a difference maker.San Francisco is the better team, plain and simple. 49ers get it done.
Well coached. Actually, I thought it was one of the better officiated games of the year, no blatant missed calls, the horse collar on KC was ticky tacky. Overall KC had 6 penalties for 55 yds., SF 6 - 40 yds.How were there zero holding calls against the chiefs?

SF did not get away with any holding calls, SF lost the game themselves, not the zebras.then you didn't watch closely enough.
i counted at least THREE times that Bosa was basically clothesline/grabbed around the neck/held when he tried to turn the corner and had Mahomes, one specifically on the long pass play to Hardman.
Not gonna happen, this is his last job. He’s oldSomebody needs to hire Spagnuolo as a HC, so Chiefs don't win 3 in a row.
didn't say anything about that in my post, so... not sure where you're going with that one, but ok.SF did not get away with any holding calls, SF lost the game themselves, not the zebras.
I thought the difference in the 4th quarter was KC did a great job of disguising their defense … and SF telegraph their defenses … SF showed when they were going to blitz and showed when they were playing on soft … can’t do that with Ried and Mahomes on the other team.SF did not get away with any holding calls, SF lost the game themselves, not the zebras.
Made 2 big plays! Who you got making the NBA finals or what are this weeks lotto numbers?Mahomes, Kelce, Rice, Pacheko = plenty of fire power. And either Valdez-Scantling or Hardman will make one big play.
Not a dark/night mode guy?Who would’ve thought a team from SF wouldn’t be the gheyst thing about this SBView attachment 54329
NopeNot a dark/night mode guy?
Hmmm.... not bad. One point heavy on each team. Guess if I called OT it would had been even more impressive.I think it will be a close, but not high scoring game. Both teams have good defenses and inconsistent offenses. Mahomes makes one more play and Chiefs win it 24-21
My thinking is, take the ball 2nd, go for 2 to win the game.Pretty damning article on Kyle Shanahan, the 49ers lack of preparation, while on the flip side the genius/thoroughness of Andy Reid and the Chiefs preparedness. As my coach in high school once quoted Ben Franklin to me, and has stuck with me ever since, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
Did the 49ers’ Decision to Receive in Overtime Cost Them the Super Bowl?
San Francisco chose to take the ball first in overtime. But with the new postseason rules, would the team have been better off giving it to Patrick Mahomes first instead?www.theringer.com
Lol lucky guess - I just figured one of those guys would make a big play while the D focused on Kelce and Rice. Turns out they both caught a TD.Made 2 big plays! Who you got making the NBA finals or what are this weeks lotto numbers?
It amazes me the amount of crap that Kyle Shanahan gets?? Outside of possibly Andy Reid, is there another NFL coach that's had more success the last few years??? Niners blunders/ bad things last night....Pretty damning article on Kyle Shanahan, the 49ers lack of preparation, while on the flip side the genius/thoroughness of Andy Reid and the Chiefs preparedness. I mean, not informing your team how OT works and not having a plan in place in the event of it is more than fair criticism especially since they were favorites to get there. That isn’t a controversial take.It amazes me the amount of crap that Kyle Shanahan gets?? Outside of possibly Andy Reid, is there another NFL coach that's had more success the last few years??? None of these have much to do with the head coach. It just amazes me that fans and others don't hold players accountable, they immediately go to the head coach or coordinators.
- McCaffrey fumble on the first drive
- Greenlaw popping his Achilles just running on the field
- Debo hamstring, although he did return
- Kittle shoulder
- Punt that hit the Niner blocker and not recovered by the punt returner ( really the play of the game, IMO)
- Missed XP
