I went to the StX - Moeller JV game yesterday and O'Malley looks really good. In my opinion which doesn't matter to any one I think he is the leading candidate to be the varsity starter next season
I agree its O'Malley's job to lose next year.I went to the StX - Moeller JV game yesterday and O'Malley looks really good. In my opinion which doesn't matter to any one I think he is the leading candidate to be the varsity starter next season
I don't think anyone disagrees with that, however good indicators of future success is past performance. Now will there be some surprises and some great battles that will come down to the wire of course there will be. That's one of the great things about X, the internal competition and each player pushing each other to get better. I think we're all just spitballing here and having some fun. It's all even starting at January workouts....doesn't matter what anyone has nor has not done in lower levels. It's all about January-July '22
I'm assuming that PJ McColgan (senior, #6 on varsity) is Micheal's older brother.Michael McColgan has actually been tearing it up on the freshman squad at QB. He's outshined the other 2 and is an all around better athlete. Also Macen Hall should be in the mix for one of the CB spots, and Ty Wiseman should also be in the mix for the secondary. Either way X shouldn't experience any drop-off in talent for the foreseeable future.
I agree with this because in the first half of the Moeller game when one of the Evil Empire defenders tore off McCaughey's helmet and he had to go out for a play they put Ryan Nolan in at QB and not one of the juniors (who had been in getting snaps in the second half running clock games)I went to the StX - Moeller JV game yesterday and O'Malley looks really good. O'Malley saw his first varsity action during turbo time of last Friday's win vs LaSalle.I went to the StX - Moeller JV game yesterday and O'Malley looks really good. In my opinion which doesn't matter to any one I think he is the leading candidate to be the varsity starter next season
A handful of sophomores was just added to the Varsity roster for the remainder of the season.Michael McColgan has actually been tearing it up on the freshman squad at QB. He's outshined the other 2 and is an all around better athlete. Also Macen Hall should be in the mix for one of the CB spots, and Ty Wiseman should also be in the mix for the secondary. Danny had more FG opportunities clearly haha.Senior placekicker Mason Rohmiller (3 year career)

They had twice as many as the 2007 state champs, who most believe is the best Bomber team in history.
