RIP Dwayne Haskins

Was Haskins actually driving or was the women driving and was she sober? I ask because if he was driving this wasn't a tragedy but a tragedy avoided. Or am I the only one who thinks that driving down the highway this messed up is attempted vehicular homicide? And that the real story here is that innocents didn't get killed by Haskin's deeply irresponsible act
I dont think anyone is surprised by the results. You can best bet he was driving, really think an alpha male like himself who routinely made poor decisions, was going to allow the woman to drive, whom likely was also hammered as well?

If SHE was the one that was driving that narrative would have come out already and painting Haskins as a nobel guy trying to help his lady friend driver who done f'd up a a a ron.

I feel bad for his wife. Not only did she lose her sugar daddy, but also found out that he was cheating on her AND was with the hussey when she talked to him in the AM right before the incident.

Out clubbing with a woman in his car who was not his wife, double the limit drunk and ketamine in his system. Insensitive as they were, Gil Brandt and Adam Schefter were unfortunately correct. A guy known for screwing up died by screwing up. Sad. RIP. Too young and with so much promise.
Given some time to think about it, I'm sure both of these guys wish they would had reacted differently. In their world, you are paid to have opinions and to get info out quickly. But yes, they were correct, and it just amazes me how people - because they are great athletes - think they are great people. This was a troubled guy for years and as much as supporters offer help, sometimes it doesn't matter. Lots of money and lots of free time is a bad combination. And yet many feel NIL is just going to go fine. SMH.

The wife that his parents have never met!

I get it. It's still sad for me. Happens in all spectrums of society.

He left her a LOT of sugar. I'm bettin she's over it for all but the cameras.

If the young lady in the car had any indication he was that intoxicated and had ingested ketamine…she may find herself with some legal issues.

Believe a story I read was she was passed out, or nearly so, in the vehicle as well so she was lkely just as jacked up as he was.

I had hoped this was just a freak accident, but it was so strange, you kinda knew there was more to it.

It's hard on a family grieving when the truth adds to their burden of grief.

Young, rich, and famous has not been a good formula for a lot of guys.

A large amount of alcohol + club drugs + a woman-not-your-wife in the car = not the ideal way to leave this earth. Just makes me very sad.
