Jimmy Butler with an all time playoff performance with 56 points leading the 8 seed Heat up 3-1 over the 1 seed Bucks

I still think Bucks come back, but, not convinced. If the Heat knock them out it will make the Cavs debacle infinitely worse

Bucks are in trouble because Giannis isn't 100%. That injury in game 1 really affected this series. The Bucks can stilll win the series because they only need to win once at Miami, and Holliday go 10 for 31 last night. That's not going to keep happening. But give Miami credit, they defend and they have guys that can rise to the occasion.

Butler's night reminded me of Iverson's run with the Sixers in '01 when he got 54 and 52 on Toronto.

Celtics looked like they had zero sense of the moment as they casually let Trae Young extend the series against them at the end of the game last night.

I disagree, that was a contested 30 footer, with the game on the line. Young is a career 35% 3 point shooter, and 33.5% this season. I'd live with that shot every hour of every day. He's such a good free throw shooter you can't take a chance of him drawing a foul in that moment. Tatum was bad last night.

So if you're the Clippers. both Paul George and Kawahi Leonard missed game 5 of the Suns series, and George has been out for more than a month.
So if you have guys on your team who, let's face it the NBA is all about post season, and guys can't even play in the post season, what are we doing? What are we resting up for? I mean if Lenoard and George can play next week, does that even matter anymore? Are we at a point now where pro athletes would rather miss playoff games so they don't have to rehab in the off season? And no one seems to call these guys out on it either.

I wouldn't consider it to be contested. Boston let him catch the inbounds pass without any pressure, and the guy guarding him gave him 2-3 arm lengths of space and back peddled to the 3 point line, letting Young dribble into rhythm before lunging out at him. If somebody's fine with saying "35% shooter" that's fine, but it was not good defense or effort. They let him get exactly what he wanted with little to no pressure.

If this isn't contested....I don't know what is.

Jimmy Butler is him. Sheesh what a playoff series for the man.
Great series for Butler and the Heat, but on that shot to send it to OT, you simply have to call that. He pushed the guy away to get to take the lob pass. For those who what officials to swallow the whistle at the ends of games, I give you reason #1 why it's wrong. That game should had been over, going back to Miami for game 6 and who knows.

Make a free throw.

Kind of fun seeing some of the non-chosen media favorites get some run in the playoffs. Jimmy Butler and Jamal Murray are tearing it up in the playoffs.

That's why they play the games. Unreal the Philly goes into Boston and beats the Celtics without Embiid, and the Celtics played well.

I can't believe Jordan Poole took a 30 footer with the game on the line. It's still only worth 3 points, no matter how far back you shoot it.

Lakers are in the series now. I really thought GS would sweep that series.

What was the name of that freight train that went through Boston last night? Wow.

Isn't it funny how that Sixers can be really good with Embiid, and good without him. It just really shows you how different basketball is today. Embiid was good enough to win the MVP of the league, but the Sixers were also several games over .500 in the games he did not play. Embiid may be the last of a dying breed, the post up center. 30 year ago, NBA teams were built from the center out.

This Laker/GS game sux! Probably because I dislike the Lakers so bad. Lol
Golden State such an odd team. They are wildly inconsistent. I can't believe the Lakers have a 2-1 lead on that series. LeBron is a shell of himself and AD is as inconsistent as the Warriors.

Suns look like they want to go fishing early. They don't even show up for an elimination game. NBA is getting very bad.

I think the KD experiment went very wrong. Ayton didn't even play. Paul is still hurt. Suns took a big risk trading two good young players in Cam Johnson and Mikail Bridges for KD and two is better than one, sometimes no matter who that one is.

Just an absolute train derailment in Philly last night. Home for game 6, close out game and Boston did not play well at all. And Philly played even worse. If Philly can't somehow win a 3rd game in Boston Sunday, this one really stings. Now Boston was the prohibitive favorite going into the series and Boston was up 2-1 early on. But Philly won games 4-5 and was at home to close it out. Seemed to have all the momentum. Rememeber those game 5 percentages??? They don't mean anything in the moment because you only control what you control.

Not Harden's best night. 4-16 from the field and 0-6 from behind the arc; add in his usual 5 TOs and you get a +/- of -10. Yuck.

No doubt, but without Harden, this may had been a Celtics sweep. The Sixers are their best when Harden has about 20 pointes and 15 assists, Embiid and Maxey are the main scorers. I didn't see every shot last night, but I saw a couple of his 3's hit both sides of the rim. Big thing for him is being able to get to the line.
Sixers big underdog Sunday, and rightly so, but they've already won their twice, and how this series has gone, wouldn't shock me if they pull it off Sunday.

If you're not a big NBA fan and you don't have much going on tonight, tune into the Lakers/ Warriors game. Pretty intriguing matchup. Lakers certainly do not want to go to a game 7 at Golden State. I think both teams are going to be in tear down mode depending on who loses. Lakers may tear down anyway.
It seems like the Warriors get stronger as series go on. Can the Lakers ugly down the game one more time and get out of this series?

Golden St. is not even close to the team they used to be. I have zero rooting interest for the Lakers. That also includes LeBron. In fact all the teams left in the playoffs don't even interest me for NBA watching
