Perkins football coach Santoro facing suspension after bus incident

I graduated from a rival SBC school 30 years ago. My dad and his family are all Perkins alum.
I moved away as an adult. But I still know lots of parents with kids on that team. I had no idea this even happened, no one is talking about it on social media and I don't stalk the Register.
This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. This has been the Perkins attitude for years and years. Some schools never outgrow their stereotype..

Is it really a stereotype?

This story is the most absurd thing ever. Both should lose there job and license to teach/mentor kids.
I agree. This coach is supposed to be an educator. He is supposed to help adolescents develop into productive human beings. He is charged with leadership and character development. Instead he acted like an ego maniac and taught kids how to throw temper tantrums and to act like entitled kids. He is absolutely immature and frankly a disgrace to football coaches across the nation. His actions show that he isn’t fit to lead young men.

So whaddya think? Drawn and quartered? Disembowelment? Perhaps the pillory?

Seems to be the way of our world

So, lose his career? Seems like your judgment is no better than his.
He deserves the opportunity to defend his state championship. However he should be investigated for the obvious blackmail of Glenville’s OC. No way he voluntarily stayed with his wildcat call after Perkins called a timeout to adjust and there’s absolutely no way he voluntarily played both QBs in the state semis when the starter had zero turnovers in the first rounds and continued to go back and forth when the kid threw a pick on his first snap and finished with two INTs and was sacked 6 times. There’s no room for blackmail in high school sports.

So you do not think that Perkins breaks the rules?
That's a Stalin-esque inquisition. You don't start with the accused then look for the crime. You think Perkins breaks the rules? Which ones? When? How? Specifics, not smears. If you have them.

I was asking his opinion or his thoughts. I already have my own.

Not an inquisition at all. As it was one question and not exhaustive. Perkins doesn’t cheat, they’re the top program out that way and talented players want to play for them.
