Oklahoma State DT Justin Kirkland enters the portal as a grad transfer. 6’3” 335lbs. 26 games, 40 total tackles, 7 TFLs, 2 pass deflections, 1 sack in the last 2 years. Let’s hope OSU goes after him. Would fill a huge need at NT

Yes please but knowing OSUs failures to recruit pure nose tackles I don't think it's good to be optimistic here. Larry Johnson just needs fired

Hope he doesn't follow Knowles to Penn State.
 
Assumed but now official, Elbert Hill is headed to USC. OSU views him as a slot, he wants to be an outside CB. Unfortunate but it is what it is.

Big boy DT JJ Perez of Glenville, who OSU offered about 3 weeks ago, is seeing his recruitment blow up. Ranked just inside the top 1,000, he has since gotten offers from Florida, Alabama and Iowa.
 
Hill joins an incredibly strong 2026 recruiting class at USC. The Trojans are currently the No. 1-ranked program for commits in the 2026 class on 247 Sports. He joins a recruiting class that includes five-star athlete Xavier Griffin and five-star offensive tackle Keenyi Pepe. Hill will be the third five-star recruit to commit to USC.

In addition to those three, Lincoln Riley and the Trojans have also acquired 12 four-star recruits. However, they're doing it; USC is running away with it for the 2026 recruiting class.

inexperienced somewhat but weak is getting a little carried away there sparts. Eddrick Houston was top 5 D lineman in 2024 class in the country .he will start this yr.They have plenty of guys who can start at Nose guard .they will be fine

Eddrick Houston came in as an end but got pushed to DT because they were so short there. Houston is only 285 lbs which is very small for a defensive tackle

They can put 15-bc 20 more lbs on him. if need be .Plus, completely new defense under Matt Patricia . Will look nothing like what Knowles ran . Dont you worry OSU will have good DL s . Quit k nit picking

I don’t think so considering he’s already put on 15 lbs to get to 285. He’s naturally not a bigger defensive tackle.

Once the hammer comes down on Michigan, do you see any players the Buckeyes would be interested in signing?
Michigan has had some fairly solid linemen in recent years. Offense and Defense.

Absolutely. They still have some studs on that defense, just go watch their bowl game against Alabama. Their backups beat Alabamas starters

Yes i think so . You are not as smart as me.Remember the Jimmy JOhnson Miami teams .?? They had smaller , quicker D lineman somewhat . Thats how they dominated . Warren Sapp came into Miami at 235lbs ..he ended up weighing 280 .They can put any amount of weight on someone that they want to. Get in the game sfartacus .get in the game of life

Dude, you are referring to players from the 80s and the game has massively changed since then as well as the size of the players. Somebody with so many grammatical and spelling errors also shouldn’t be commenting on somebody’s lack of intelligence either.
