The crazy thing is that his brother was a safety in the '25 class and committed to LSU. I agree that it's early and his recruitment if far from over. But this is a huge win for Guerrieri.

Caldwell is Walton’s nephew, he apparently does a better job of recruiting family than Eliano did lol. Teammate of TE commit Corbin Fordham. Beat out ND. Says he has shut down his recruitment. Ranked the 7th best LB, but as Spartacus mentions could still play safety. Caldwell also specifically mentions building a relationship with Patricia and that made a strong impression on him.

Defensive line recruiting is still a massive problem. Weddingtons Aiden Harris doesn’t even have OSU listed as an upcoming OV after OSU supposedly being favored to land him for awhile.

He still can’t, but he greatly improved his short to medium passing game in the playoffs. Just get the ball to the playmakers. He can do that, but he can’t throw past 40 yards.

What deep throws did you see? They all look the same with him. He throws as hard as he can, but the ball never travels over 40 yards in the air and the receivers have to wait for it. It’s the weak spot in his game. Nothing he can do about it. He just has to stick to what he does well.

Howards throw to Smith went 43 yds. in the air in the ND game (yes, I am nitpicking), his arm strength is sufficient. Joe Burrow coming out of college wasn't thought to have great arm strength same with Joe Montana. Arm strength is important but went throwing deep, timing is more important. Nothing is more frustrating than a QB overthrowing a wide-open receiver. Like Chris Collinsworth said on a broadcast last year better to put the ball on the receiver than trying to lead em and overthrow them.

I don't care about effort, I care about results. I expect some explosive edge rushers and big 300 pound tackles. That is the expectation. No other position group including OL is this kind of problem anymore.

OSU also, surprisingly, makes the final 3 for 5* NC iOL/DL PJ Dean, along with SC and Georgia. All three schools are recruiting him as an either/or and letting him figure out which position once he’s on campus.
His other brother was UGA’s starting C this year and will be drafted. Expect him to end up a Dawg.
