Ohio State Recruiting

Naeem Offord expected to sign elsewhere. The longer the filth that is Ryan Day is kept as the leader of this program the further this program will be deconstructed.

I can’t imagine that Noland is going to be in Columbus after this year.

One dude gets to be the QB, and Noland was pretty much DoA when Sayin jumped aboard and sprang up the depth chart.

One highly rated guy per class is alright IMO. You can gain spacing between guys via redshirting, duds transferring out, and studs early entering into the draft.

Lots of experienced P4 OL in the portal already. Got guys from Auburn, ATM, GT and Stanford who have significant starting experience and various amounts of eligibility. GT guy, Corey Robinson, in particular graded out exceptionally well this year in pass pro. Poor run blocker though.

Smaller school guy: Former Massillon Tiger Xavior Gray is also in the portal from Liberty. 1st team all CUSA OT, 2nd higher run blocking grade in the conference.

If Day gets to keep his job, it should be mandatory that they throw an NIL bag at the Eastern Michigan kicker that has entered the portal, barring somebody better emerging. It was an inexcusable bumble to not push hard for the kicker from Miami last year.

Jesus Sanchez made a 57 yarder this year. For his career, he is 6-11 from 50+ and 14-18 from 40-49 yards. 36-39 from 39 yards or less. To say he’d be a massive upgrade over what they’ve had the last several years would be an understatement.

And his name is Jesus? It's a no-brainer. Lol.

Those stats aren’t that great

It is light years ahead of Fielding. Ruggles was more efficient, but maxed out at 46-47 yards. This guy has a cannon compared to him.

Ryan Day would probably have a natty (Georgia playoff loss) and a lot less heat on his rear end if he had a kicker equivalent to slightly better than this guy.

OSU was blessed with the Sanchez commitment. Top CB, top 10 player, out of state. No game playing or funny business during his recruitment. Signed with OSU already.

Anthony Rogers, 4* and top 150 player, running back from Alabama commits and signs. Originally from the same HS as Judkins. Decommitted from Alabama in November. OSU beat Georgia and Alabama fr him. 3rd RB in the class.

He’s a classic Urban Meyer half back. Can run, catch, return kicks.

Those players rarely if ever work out for OSU. We just don’t know how to use them

Never thought Offord would sign with OSU but didn’t expect it to be Oregon either. Oregon has become Ohio States daddy all under Ryan Days sad “coaching” if you want to call it that

Hysterical Brew didn’t want to come to Ohio State because of Offord, just for Offord to end up at Oregon.
Yup no easy way around it though. If a 5* wants to commit early you have to let them, even if you think there is a possibility they still look elsewhere. At the end of the day I am willing to bet it came down to the same thing for both Brew and Offord, money.
