LOOK: Notre Dame only had 10 players on field during critical plays in last-second loss to Ohio State
Notre Dame only had 10 players on the field during Ohio State's final two offensive plays

Well, the beans worked.Screw tepid optimism. Go all in! Lol.
I made my sacred Buckeye Mexican bean dip this morning. I mixed a can of black beans into the refried beans for extra power. If the Irish don't experience the power of those beans, the people sitting around me at church tomorrow will.
Ohio St is going to beat the Catholicism out of Notre Dame. By the time the Buckeyes are done with the Irish tonight, Notre Dame will convert to Islam, become a madrasa, and the fathers will be imams.
Enjoy fellas.![]()
On both sides of the watch no doubt.Well, the beans worked.
My heart was ripped out three separate times in the last several minutes of the game.

Will be interesting coming up, albeit, the transitive analysis normally doesn't work. ND plays Duke and USC. Will be interesting to see if they return closer to their 40 per game avg. Of course I know what most of us think about USC and semblance of defenseWell, I think both Irish and Buckeye fans have a higher opinion of the other team's defense and lines of scrimmage - and entire team really.
I knew ND's OL was a really good unit and I knew that Estime was a beast, but I underestimated the quality of the depth and talent behind #7, as well as the TE/WR group.
Sam Hartman was what I thought he was. Very accurate, capable of dinking and dunking down the field. But I don't know if he couldnt/wouldnt/ wasn't allowed to go downfield, but I expected more attempts at those types of explosive plays.
Anyway, plenty of player and coaching errors on both sides that could have changed the game dramatically in either direction, but when it was do or die, Kyle McCord and his guys did when they easily could have died. But those were 2 very good teams that went at it. I imagine that if Hartman had the ball last and needed a TD, it would have been Buckeye Nation waking up with a headache.
You ever see a coach going from job to job and wondering how he keeps getting hired because you perceive he is bad at coaching? Alex Grinch is that guy for me. When he got hired at USC, I just laughed. Will be interesting coming up, albeit, the transitive analysis normally doesn't work. ND plays Duke and USC. That 86 year old man has looked like a moron in many regards in the last 7 years, both on tv and off. The fact he had become a true sweetie isn't newRyan Day is a head. Most of the OSU fans on this site have said the exact thing but you want to get butthurt when an 86 yr old man mumbles those same sentiments.
He’s 86 and if Ryan Day needed that as motivation, he really is a terrible coach. That 86 year old man has looked like a moron in many regards in the last 7 years, both on tv and off. The fact he had become a true sweetie isn't new
Day admitted before the interview was over, he was being a moron because he was excited. I think we can give him a pass, if it's in the past. He’s 86 and if Ryan Day needed that as motivation, he really is a terrible coach.
In the post game, he was still going on about it.Day admitted before the interview was over, he was being a moron because he was excited. I think we can give him a pass, if it's in the past.
Yeah, they’ve heard it from Ohio St fans. And now the OSU fanbase wants to act indignant over Holtz agreeing with them.I know Lou is a clown at times, but his comments surprised me, given his connection to OSU. I'd say he's burned that bridge, not that he probably really cares. And I have no problem with Day's comments. He's just defending his team and I'm guessing they're all tired of hearing it. Got the win, now move along.
Well,he has many thoughts recently, Holtz that is, that defy facts and reality....football included but not exclusive. He has become an sweetieYeah, they’ve heard it from Ohio St fans. And now the OSU fanbase wants to act indignant over Holtz agreeing with them.
He’s 86 and he has one more National Title than Ryan Day ever will.Well,he has many thoughts recently, Holtz that is, that defy facts and reality....football included but not exclusive. He has become an sweetie
If that’s what he needed to motivate his team, he is soft. Again, half you on here have said the same thing.Whether you agree with Day’s response or not, Holtz said what he said. And I wish people would stop with the ‘poor 86-year old man’ act. I don’t care how old he is. If he makes a decision to go on McAfee’s show and drop a piping hot take, then he should be able to handle the public blowback from Day. He’s clearly using this to motivate his team and create a narrative to rally around in the locker room moving forward.
but you're ok with the pitymypoorohioass routine? GTFO I've seen your posting and no way do I believe that. Day needs grow some manballs, ignore and move-on or go back to New Hampster.Whether you agree with Day’s response or not, Holtz said what he said. "Ok Day, if not that that, then why DO you lose the big games?" That's what a journalist with their head not up theirass would followup his ranting responses with.Ohio State loses big games under coach Ryan Day because the Buckeyes aren't sufficiently physical.
orHoltz is a legend. His words motivated us.
Agree to disagree. I get that you don’t like it, but it didn’t bother me.but you're ok with the pitymypoorohioass routine? GTFO I've seen your posting and no way do I believe that. Day needs grow some manballs, ignore and move-on or go back to New Hampster.
Lets look at this. Here is what Holtz said.

Man response looks more like this
or
ignore and deflect any question regards the words, much as his QB did in the on-field post interview.
Not me.If that’s what he needed to motivate his team, he is soft. Again, half you mother f’ers on here have said the same thing.
Hope ND gives him (Freeman) a lifetime contract. Having 10 players on the field for the last 2 plays of the game (inexcusable), and the play calling under 3 min. to go was insane, just run the football make OSU burn their time outs. If OSU would have made those blunders the fan base would have Days head on a pike.I'll tell y'all something, I'm a big fan of Freeman. Saw him play on Friday nights and watched him on tv on Saturday's playing for the Buckeyes. I'm a big fan. He handled the post game presser like a champ. As mush as it hurts to say, as long as he's the coach of the Irish, I will root for them as long as they're not playing the Buckeyes and maybe the Vols. ROTFLMAO!
Wow. I didn't know how perfect you are and have never made mistakes. Good for you. I bet your wife (or life time partner) is really proud of you.Hope ND gives him (Freeman) a lifetime contract. If you are getting pd. 5 million dollars a year you should have someone in the press box who can count to 11.Wow. I didn't know how perfect you are and have never made mistakes. Good for you. I bet your wife (or life time partner) is really proud of you.
